  • Thanks Op - Got one.

    • they are awesome units! Have one already, and this is my second one.

      • I agree - I have 2 already for my house and my partner finds it amazing because I don't snore as much hah, this would be a great Christmas present for the folks.

        • Yep. We find it helps with hayfever (after 2+ days running in the room). And it actually gets of any odour or smells too.

        • does it really help with reducing snoring because of the air quality? i'm interested

          • @smeng: yeah, i dont have interrupted sleep anymore and it helps with my allergies.

  • Purchased thanks OP

    • Awesome, cheapest I've seen delivered in recent times. :-) Enjoy!

  • Good find. Purchased

    • Cool, enjoy!

  • Well with Kogan if you have a cba card then $139 with Commbank cashback + $20 off with HeraldSun subscription :)

    • Yup, good deals if you are able to combine the CommBank offer. HeraldSun is one way, but it isn't completely $20 and requires a small payment (and effort). This is straight-up delivered price, without having to go through the hassle of Kogan delivery (or Kogan first).

      • yeh does require a bit of effort. It's not completely $20 off it's $16 haha but hey you get to read newspaper for a month lol

Kogan First isn't too hard to set up but I do see your points!

        • Except Kogan First seems a bit more tricky now…tried that a wee while ago and I think if you use the same address or CC number, it detects you as being a repeat customer and not new, and doesn't give you free trial. And there's the cancellation issue people have been having too. Otherwise I think its $11.99 for delivery or something. I did it that way around last time, but this deal is much more straightforward!

  • Does anyone know where to buy the HEPA filter for this?

    • Kogan historically has the cheapest price. I think official Xiaomi website also sells them. Lasts around 6 months, and around $35 - $45 / filter (best to get them at specials)

      • Thanks, I checked Xiaomi store is out of stock (as well as Kogan) as per yesterday. And not sure if ebay store to be trusted for this.

  • Some one please post the link that compares all the different versions of these units features.

  • Tossing between this and the Breville smart air purifier. Just waiting for the price to be cheaper

    Any thoughts https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/breville-the-smart-air-connec…

No idea, about Breville. I know this Xiaomi one is a good balance price v.s. quality. Very quiet in operation too.

Hope that answers your question :)

      • Cheers !
        Awesome
        That’s a good comparison

    • Breville was not in the Choice review's recommended list. The 3H is.

  • How does this model compare with the Philips series 2000?

PFFFFt. Ordered last week and ebay said Postage service Express Parcel Delivery arriving Monday 30th.

I just enquired about it asking why i don't have any tracking details despite saying arriving today, only to be told They need 10 business days to process this order!!!

need it for my old man who spends most time at home and is suffering quite a bit lately with hayfever.

    Annoying

  • one of these days i'll be able to get one

How's everybody's delivery going on this? I ordered on 24 November, tracking only provided on 3 December and still not showing as picked up. The listing said it was located in Mulgrave and should have been delivered between 26 November and 3 December. I'm not impressed.

    • I argued for and received a refund. Will avoid in future.

I ordered 23 November. 2 weeks later and still not shipped.

Clearly the product was never in stock and they are still waiting for it to be delivered from China - most likely taking longer than they expected.

The product was advertised and sold on the presumption that it was “in stock” and it was even advertised with a “1 business day handling time”

I have absolutely no problem with any seller selling stuff that they don’t have in stock - but they need to advertise as such - advertise it as a “pre-order” with expected ship time early to mid December or something.

Yep, exactly. You make your decision not only on price, but also on whether it's local stock and how long delivery is expected to take. Often you're happy to pay a little more to have it posted sooner from a local supplier and you lose all control over that choice when a dishonest seller takes your money and keeps you in limbo. I'm sure I'm on their blacklist but that's fine with me - they're definitely on mine.

  • These are arrogant people to deal with. No apologies or correspondence for any delay. When enquiring to ask what's with the delay, just straight up response.. U have any problems let us know and we will help with your refund.

I mean a big chunk of their success are the impact of Ozbargain and it's members.. Gearbite has become of a dishonest , sly delaying arrogant business that thinks we are just an insignificant nobody.

    … Maybe so.

Thanking you Gearbite for the reminder and first hand experience not to deal with business as such that treat their clients as above. Minus 1 ozbargainer from your hundreds of thousands of clients. I know for a fact you don't deserve my hard earnt money.
