Marrickville Cincotta Chemist, Panamax $.99, Panadol Kids $2, Imperial Leather Soap (4pack) $.99 Raidant Washing Powerder $1 -H

30

Well I just went to the local cincotta store and everyone's right its so cheap! These are just a few of the things my wife and I bought.

There is still the 3 for $10 (Rexona deodorants and lux soaps). Got both.
Also got, -Panamax for 99cents
-Panadol for the kids only $2.00
-Imperial leather soap (4pack) 99cents
-Raidant washing powerder (think it was a dollar and I saw both front and top)
-Huggies nappies for $33.99
-Best deals were perfumes I rekon, saw david off $29.99, ck, etc etc and more for all under 30 bucks. Got a few for Christmas gifts for random friends.

Apparently they do have different specials each month but since Christmas is coming, they just reduced everything. I went in because I had to get some antibiotics for my flu, but even with the prescription I saved 6 bucks from where I usually get it down the road.

Definately recommend 10/10 for savings and price. Definately going back. But I wish they had more staff. I know they were busy but when I had a question I coudln't find anyone to help me out. Cheers and Merry xman everyone.

p.s I posted the link to their site, but I coudlnt' find any of the specials there. I believe its only specific to Marricville Cincotta.

  • David off for $29.99?
That's expensive for a rip off of Davidoff.

    • Don't understand the joke (if it is), but they're perfumes are real and it is the real DAVIDOFF perfume..

      • Definately not a rip off. Their range is huge! I could only remember the price of david off. But there was plenty. Versace, boss, ralph lauren, the relately new guess seductive and beyonce pulse… but the thing that struck me most about their david off was that it was $29.99 and it —-> wasn't on special <—-. It was their regular price.

If you walk down the road to chemist warehouse, they've marked it down with a giant pretty pink sticker but it's still more expensive at $32.99.

Goes to show you what you should be paying for a product and how much marketing jacks it up. No if you want a cologne, check out the price at David jones, chemist warehouse etc etc and then go to cincotta. Bet it's still cheaper. Seems like this cincotta really does genuinely want to give you a bargain.

But again, like I've been telling everyone else. Check out the price of their prescriptions. You don't think you can get a bargain with prescriptions but today there, I learnt otherwise.

Huggies nappies are $30 at woolies at the moment, and they've come down in price so woolies/coles/big w are always $33 or so now

    • Yes you're right. I got some at woolies a few weeks ago, but considering the distance woolies is, $33 is great.

Nappies might have been 2 dollars more, but did I mention it was definately offset by other trivial things I got?

Milk for $2, Aussie milk has never been so cheap.
      Tissues kleenex aloe vera $2
Colgate toothbrush (soft, med, hard) all for only $1
Wife got some chlorophyll (stuff megan gale drinks for her good looks) for $11. Last time the wife wanted a bottle I had to fork out 21.

I could go on but the thing I wanted to point out most was the prescriptions.

      • Woolies is way more accessible than one specific shop. And something don't feel quite right when a pharmacy is selling milk.

And I've seen all the items you've mentioned cheaper at chemist warehouse before. Panamax usually goes for $.29-.49 at chemist warehouse. And all those soaps for cheaper. I think I remember seeing a 5 pack of Colgate toothbrushes for bout 4$ or so as well. I have a cincottas near my chemist warehouse. Rarely is the former cheaper than the latter. And if it ever is I just treat chemist warehouse like OW and get it price matched with 10% off the diff lol. Man I love OW and CW :p

        • Cincotta also does the 10% price matching difference so mention it when getting it matched - just saying.

        • Pharmacy milk tastes different. FACT.

  • Raidant washing powerder

Nice to know the washing ders have power and RAID. BTW, Happy Yew Near to you.

No customer service at this place. Should be illegal. Shame on pharmacy profession

Highly disagree, when I walk in I am always greeted and asked if I need help. The only problem is customers - when I see rude customersignore staff or tell them off for offering their assistance. +1 FOR MARRICKVILLE CINCOTTA!
Having been to Chemist Warehouse, I find them very reserved in offering customer service, they have a "you find me" approach to customer service and that's if they offer to take you to the item or have an idea.

      • Oh I'm sorry I should have made it more clear. No doubt their customer service was excellent. You're 100% on the spot. As soon as you walk in you have someone greeting you and asking how you are. I was really surprised that a pharmacy would go that far. What I meant was that it would have been good if there were more staff to service us.

They spend so much time on 1 customer that some of us miss out. But they just opened so I wasn't too bothered. Much better than the grocery store that use to be there.

        • That's really good to hear. I like that. This type of service should be standard wherever u shop. I might drop by and check em out sometime. But as it stands at the moment, cw is still my goto for cheap meds n perfume. Maybe I'll give my local cincotta another chance even though last time I went wasn't that great, but u make it sound like it deserves another visit.
