        @sogster10: Called through to the Sydney DC and they wouldn't take c/c details for the socket set. Asked if there was a way to do as you described above and they said no because their system says this product isn't coming from the supplier anymore. Any help?
        
        My bad I called the 13 73 23 number initially, whereas when I called directly to the greystanes store they were able to do the back-order for me. Thanks!

  Yes … you can ring the your local DC and place the order over the phone with your c/c, the order for the set will be in the system waiting and then when the stock gets booked in your order will get allocated, picked and sent / or collected…

Holy Moley. That is the worst website for an actual established business I've had the displeasure of navigating in a long, long time. Registration is broken. Business registration is broken. Item adds to cart and then the link to the cart is broken. Once in the cart the payment options are broken. Once you hack that, it won't let you purchase them anyway.

Then the Dandenong branch phone number is disconnected.

Finally spoke to a lovely lady out of Launceston who processed my order out of Geelong who are showing 5 units on hand. Scoresby have 10 units on order from Darwin.

Blackwoods, who on earth built that sorry excuse for a website?

  Agree with you to a degree with the website …
  With Clearance lines, postcodes related and non account customers, yes can be difficult …
  We had a lot of stock around yday and the orders of existing stocks went mad in ADEL / MELB / SYD / BRIS …
  All branches will have stocks moved to them over the coming days-week …
  Mel sold 40 sets alone from mid arvo to night …
  We had 15 in Dandenong yday and unfortunately someone went in and bought 12 sets in one transaction :( …
  Yes Geelong and Portland had stock and some were being moved to Melbourne …
  It is a great price, is a clearance line not going to be kept again …

      Melb from what i can see has 6 sets on backorder for custmers / Geelong has 2 on backorder …I would order from the Melb DC site not a regional …
      The regional branches sets are now getting snapped up …
      Someone yday in Dandenong bought multiple sets and cleared them out … doesnt help others …

        @sogster10: Sorry I think called the Scoresby branch and the person who answered the call said he can see stock at all the branches in their system and he also called someone to confirm that no more stock is coming to MEL.. will try calling another branch then.

        @ausbuysell12: Ok no good … Sets are heading to Melbourne … I can tell you there are 4 sets moving from Geelong to Scoresby, 5 sets from Portland to Scoresby, 10 sets from Darwin to Scoresby and we have extra sets in Sydney, Bris and Mackay we are ready to move where they need to go …

  Yes it is a set no longer made by supplier, but we have stock in branches around the country and moving them around to meet the needs of all buying and we are def clearing our stocks at that price …
  Yes Geelong sold out this morning …
  Call Scoresby / Melb site and place the order there because we have sets arriving there over the next week …
  If you order on the phone they can put one on backorder and once in collect or send out …
  If you call and have delivery there will be a freight charge of $12.50 +GST … Collect there is no charge …

My set arrived today, with some random persons invoice included (name / address / contact details etc).

The spanners are not chrome, and my set has rust spots on the spanners out of the box. The spanners are not consistently angled, and are probably the worst spanners I have ever seen.

The chrome pieces in the set have fingerprints all over them.

Not impressed with Blackwoods at all.

  I received my set today. No issues with blackwoods for me. The guy who I spoke with on the phone was very helpful.
  
  No issues with rust on any of the parts or any damage at all. Overall I think it’s a good set especially for the price. Would definitely agree with the combo spanners, they should be a lot better. They feel a bit flimsy to me and the finish isn’t the best. Apart from that the rest seems to be good. Will be interesting to see how they hold up when working on the car and bike.
  
  If you give Stanley a call they will replace any faulty components.

    They twice told me the spanners are polished chrome, even though I sent them a photo showing they’re clearly not.
    
    They’re refusing to accept a return and insist I go to a store despite ordering online (it’s a pain for me to get to their store).
    
    Clearly a mixed bunch of staff / skills, but I have dealt with absolute morons at Blackwoods.
    
    They’ve just listed a Sidchrome kit on OzB with absolutely no idea what’s included in the set they’re selling. Kicking goals.

Ordered and picked it up today from Hamilton store. Had to register to place an order, but it's easy enough and the whole transaction went through without any issues. The staff at the store is very friendly and helpful too!
