  • Are the Reolink camera ONVIF compatible?

    • Not the 4K or battery ones

    • +1

check this or you may need to contact reolink support for specifics.

      https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000792586-W…

      • Cheers for that, it appears the cameras I was looking at are compatible, but I've sent them a message anyway just to double check..

      • Their reply:
The camera supports ONVIF 2.1, but it can only work with Reolink NVR.

odd, you'd think if it's ONVIF compatible it should work fine on any ONVIF NVR system, like my Dahua…

        • +1

I use the Reolink NVR myself. But I've seen others successfully use Reolink cameras with other NVRs. Eg, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAkV_fWOMFU

If it's onvif it will work. It's the whole point of it. They just trying to sell a nvr too lol

        • +1

I think they implied it will only work with Reolink NVR but not Reolink DVR.

          • @Sathish9: There is no dvr I believe

          • @Sathish9: Another reply from them… They really don't want to sell their cameras, lol

The camera supports ONVIF 2.1, but we can be sure that it can work with the Dahua NVR system.
It is not recommended to use Reolink cameras on third-party NVR, as there might be compatibility problems between Reolink Cameras and third-party NVR
            (can = cant I assume)

They clearly cant be fully ONVIF compatible…

  • hey op - do you know if they would accept that price on the bullets as well?

though i need to work out which one i want…

  • $950 via make an offer? Odd to me. What’s the point of the code then…

    • I think code is for extra 3% off on top of $950

  • That’s correct. You could reduce price to A$921.5 with ‘PLUS3’ code.

I have got it for $906 after using $500 ebay egift card purchased with 3% discount via Suncorp app.

    • To apply this code, you need to be an eBay Plus member.

    • if you make an offer , will the seller's offer coupon still come through?

  • Can anyone compare the motion sensor trigger feature of the Reolink to the Hikvision NVR?
