T&C: The discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.

OP: Should be stackable with other kogan offers

Unfortunately I can’t test it because I don’t have a Plus Rewards code

    • Plus Rewards is used as credit. T&C doesn’t mention anything about credit. Don’t think credit will be counted as an offer.
I have used mine already so unable to test it

    • +1

I can confirm that you are able to stack 5% off with $20 voucher. Just tested and can see the voucher being applied on checkout screen.

      • Thanks spk! Hope Kogan doesn’t start jacking

        • +2

They removed most of the discounts to full priced now. I had a few items to buy all gone to full price now!!

          • @TomGum: Agree they have on items I am watching also. Will be even dearer with these discounts :(

Amex also have a spend $100 get $20 or $30 offer. Got it on my PE

  • Can anyone confirm whether this works with the $30 cashback with Commbank? The Commbank app T&C mentions "Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Offer eligible for online payments only."

  • If you are eligible for APPLOVE code ($5 off $100 for first time app purchase) then the 5% discount doesn't apply on those products.

    • +1

APPLOVE sounds better as it applies to almost every item in your cart, multiple times

      • what do you mean? It applies to each item once, or each item multiple times?

        • Each item - and if you have multiple count of same item then multiple times (there seem to be some exclusions like Apple products). I bought 3x $20 voucher and it applied the discount 3 times (total $15 discount) so I only paid $45 for $60 gift vouchers :)

i see no place to enter a discount code anywhere. I have no idea how people are doing it. The site and app have no place to enter discount codes.

      • It is in the app right once you get to the cart, underneath your products.
I think the app is still under development. Try to clear cache (on Android app) and/or try to delete it completely and reinstall.

Log in first before you start adding things to the cart.

        • it's not appearing in the web store either. I don't think it's the app.

          • @lostn: The code is only for the app - not for web store. You not supposed to see any discount code field on a page in the browser

Here is the discussion about the app and the discount code - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/587052

            • @alexshel: i want to use a different code, not an app specific code. The box should still be there but it isn't.

Anyway, I did as you suggested and reinstalled the app.

              Here's a screenshot: https://ibb.co/pzZ35cT

This is a brand new account I just created.

I have been in the comments link you posted. There were no solutions discussed there.

              • @lostn: Looks like there is an issue with your app, or they disabled the field for everyone untill they fix it

                • @alexshel:

You not supposed to see any discount code field on a page in the browser

                  Are you sure about this?

                  https://help.kogan.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001948467-How-Do…

I know for fact that there used to be promo codes on the web because I used them myself

                  • @lostn: I can't see discount code field on my app anymore. Is it because I already placed an order…not sure

Probably they've temporarily removed the field until they fix the system

                    • +1

@alexshel: It only shows up for your first order. Doesn't come up for subsequent orders.

                      • @bajirao: It is my first order. New account.

Do they not do other codes like in the past (free shipping, 10% off etc)?

                        • @lostn: That's strange. I only saw the coupon box when i clicked Cart button (before checkout button) for my first order. No such box for subsequent orders.

                        • @lostn: I tried logout and adding an item in cart. I now see that there is an instant 5% discount in cart itself and didn't see box for code. Earlier today morning when I placed order, the 5% discount wasn't showing in cart but at checkout so there was coupon box and then when you hit checkout, then at payment page it was showing 5% discount. Not sure if this is the reason why you all are unable to see the coupon box.

                    • @alexshel: Yeah I'm going to guess it will be fixed tomorrow when you can no longer get 5% off in conjunction?

                      • @lostn: $5 off each item in card (if an item are cheaper than $100) is better than 5% on total.

                        • +1

@alexshel: i was of the impression you could stack both offers.

  • Thx op, added $9.99 screen protector and got the discount of $1.
    👍

They're usually much cheaper on eBay?

      • the one i ordered from kogan comes with a tool to easily install without bubbles. you can see the video in the description.

  • Just ordered via the app the $4.90 40GB+Unlimited T&T - Kogan Mobile Prepaid Voucher Code: EXTRA LARGE (30 Days | 40GB) (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/543472) and it ended up being $3.90 which is just over 20% off.

be prepared to get spammed everyday

    • Click Unsubscribe once and spam will stop. Works for me ;)

  • So yesterday there was a chair in my cart for $89.99 & today it's $99.99 before 5% off. Everyone is learning from eBay.

  • 467 to about 400 for a Galaxy Watch 3 using all 3 discounts, many thanks!

  • Offer has been extended by 1 more day - now ends 5/12/2020 @ 11:59 pm AEST. The post need to be marked active again.

  • Anyone knows if buy giftcard from app, cba $30 Cashback is still eligible? Thanks

    • Yes should be. I just did the same thing. All CBA asks you to do is to buy $100 or more. So if you buy the $100 gift card, you should not use the 5% code as it will be $95 when checking out.

      • +1

Thanks Sir, cba tnc doesn't state only website nor excluding giftcard so i wasn't sure. Thanks again

        • Has anyone received their $30 cashback after buying gift cards?

  • EDIT: 5% stacks iwth $20 credit
