  Hi OP. Previous deals you have listed as “Australian made”. Is this still the case? No mention of it in this deal and unable to find any mention of it on your website?

    Drifta bags are also great quality and made locally and the price reflects that unlike the later mentioned. The bags we're selling are unreal value given what goes into making them, we are selling these on promo at a fraction above cost to help build our brand.

  How do these compare Drifta who i think use 12oz canvas and YKK zips on their larger bags. Would 400 gsm roughly the same? I'm a huge fan of Drifta but would be happy to help out local businesses. Is your canvas sourced locally? Thanks.

    I can't speak for drifta but we use polycotton canvas, our 400gsm ripstop is the same canvas used in many of the new style swags you see these days, we source this product from a wholesaler locally.YKK zips are from Japan, we opted for SBS which are a Chinese based company as they are cheaper and come with a longer guarantee from our supplier. We've also noticed that some bags will use generic zipps but only use YKK or SBS zipper pulls which falsely give the impression that the zip is also of this quality. We opted for a smaller zip and added a zip tag as they are less likely to jam, our expxlorer bags also use waterproof zippers which is almost unheard of for these kind of bags.

      Thanks that very informative. Are you also able to advise if you source your canvas locally? It would be great if you can provide some of this info and information about your business on your website. Drifta has a massive following as you'd know and that's due to their support of local suppliers and manufacturing their canvas products in Aus. Of course that comes at a cost and by no means am i trying to discredit/compare your businesses because competition is great and gives us consumers more choices. I'm looking forward to your upcoming products.
