Still a bit pricy I'd say

      8000mAh Battery w/ 18W Fast Charge & USB-C

      • For similar price you can buy Samsung M51 which has 7000mAh battery with 25W Fast Charge. It is of course not a rugged phone.

        • Sorry, the original comment was that it lacked USB C

@Omk4r123: I think the main draw to Oukitel is it's a rugged phone with fairly good specs. Normally with rugged phone you get crappy outdated specs.

            • @Bigboomboom: I think you're getting mixed up. Dcgogna originally said that it lacks type C, to which I replied with my comment.

However, while I was replying, they changed their comment to what it is right now

  • Can't say I've heard of the brand, but seems like a pretty strong offering - wish more companies packed the battery and made a bit more rugged.

  • They gonna be directly competing with ulefone and doggee let's see which one is best bank for our buk. Let's wait for sale around 350 ish

    • It's always a close call. Comes down to the extra features usually as they all handle being rugged quite well.

      • I'd honestly go with ulefone if all of them are offering exactly the same thing at same price. Which obviously isn't the case but for me its
For my new phone specs must have all these:-

        1. Android with google services support (i.e. excludes apple and Huawei etc.)
        2. Great Price
        3. Great Battery (rugged phone 6500+ mAh)
        4. Usb C, NFC
        5. Diverse 5g support (mm wave preferred which no rugged phone has atm)
        6. FHD + display
        7. General smoothness in phone (dimensity is very capable of)
        8. Decent Camera (not needing a pixel or iPhone quality)
        9. Any software updates.
  • For this price I'd expect a Dimensity 1000 from a no-name phone brand.

Waiting for yum cha to release their new phone

    • Dim Sum already released this phone 2 months ago. Comes with snapdragonfeet 888.

  • Do they provide regular updates ? Camera optimisation etc etc.

    • Most of the time the rugged phones receive no updates across the different brands. However Oukitel have released Android 10 updates for a few of their Android 9 phones earlier this year.

  • Similar price for Ulefone Armor 10 5G with similar specs, smaller battery but bigger main camera sensor and Wireless charging
    https://www.banggood.com/Ulefone-Armor-10-5G-IP68-IP69K-Wate…

    • Armor 10 has few 5G frequencies: N1/3/41/77/78/79 and may not work in our country.
      Oukitel WP10 5G: N1/3/5/8/20/28/38/41/77/78/79

Still waiting for the Armor X7 I ordered in March.

  • B28A and B28B?
Does this cover (is this the same as) B28?

    • Yep. B28 has 2 subset bands so by having A and B it's supported.

  • Oh come on! At least the dimensity 820 for the price….

The dimensity 1000 will cook your dinner

  • What are the requirements to call a phone rugged? With most new phones being waterproof (IP68), are these phones particularly drop proof? (Listing doesn't seem to mention much details.)

    • It's the case of the phone itself. They're chunky.

      • Okay so it'd be similar to getting another phone with a chunky case?

        • Yes that's right.
