I think we need to make a poll soon:

How many pairs of Ultraboosts does the average OzBargainer have?

    • +3

      The new Eneloops?

      • +2

The new SSD, which was the new MicroSD, which was the new Eneloop. Haven't seen sales of eneloops for so long tho…

        • +1

Eneloops still pop up sometimes, not at the same crazy prices Dick Smith had them for though :-(

          • @team teri: Unfortunately they’re all Panasonic made in China ones now. Miss the Sanyos. Went and bought some eneloop pros recently for the new console controllers.

            • +1

              @ATangk: but eneloop pro = ikea ladda…

              • @SEasternCry: After bonus cashback and coupons, it was the sameish price, and delivered.

    • 6 so far

    • Only 1. Don't really like the style anymore.

    • None :|

  • +1

Do these make good everyday/walking shoes?

    • +1

      yes

    • +1

Yes, very comfy but may seem a little bulky in the beginning.

    • +2

      The 20s do

    • +2

Would prefer the Ultraboost 4's for everyday, as they slip on easier than the UB20's

    • +1

no, look at hoka, saucony, new balance, mizuno,

  • Good find. Ordered a few.

  • +1

last NMR R1 sale they sent me the wrong pair and only offered me a refund instead of re-sending the right (or even anything remotely close) colourway. definitely put me off a bit.

  • What are the sizing on these like? My foots about 27cm which they say is size 10. But I wear Nike Free 4 in US9.5 and nike epic react 2 in size 10 I think it was.

    • +1

Use the cm or EUR sizing. The other numbers might as well not be there.

  • Are we seriously trusting Adidas after the last is ozb post where they accept your order, take your cash and then ten minutes later an email saying order cancelled, refund in 5 days?….

    • Yep

    • I been getting my orders delivered within the week

    • Got my order shipped within 3 days.

Last order (months ago) was the same.

Quick processing & Express Shipping on multiple orders, they've been amazing.

      • Just received my 4.0 Ultraboosts from my order a few days back.

        Amazing service.

    • Both my orders from last week arrived today.

    • Well, thought I'd try my luck again. Last time they cancelled my order, they sent me a coupon for 30% off full price. Sure adidas, I'd much rather that than the 40% off something already on sale, stacked with 15% cashback when I ordered. If they cancel my order again, I think this will be the last time though, my patience is wearing thin.

    • I received mine Monday morning :)

    • Yes, they cancelled my order and took 3 weeks to refund my money. I won’t be buying adidas for another year at least.

  • Ok I get everyone loves UBs but if you were to pick an Adidas shoes for running (10-20km if it matters) which would you take?

    • +2

      shoes for running (10-20km

Wouldnt go adidas, asics gt-2000s, thank me later

      • +1

Cheers mate, was hellbent on trying a Kayano given all the rage reviews but wearing them in the store the other day didn't impress me (albeit running could be different). The gt 2000 reads great and bit lighter/cheaper. Will give it a whirl!

        • +1

kayanos just too 'luxurious' for serious running, gt-2000s are just about perfect tho

  • +1

Saw a few reviews saying to go half a size up as they're a little tight, can anyone confirm this is the way to go?

    • I find all Adidas shoes to be narrow. I did read that the Ultraboost 20 run long so I just ordered my normal size.

    • Darn, took too long. Size 9s out of stock!

Edit: Spoke too soon, refreshed the site and they came back (low stock though) so managed to snag them! Keen to use these to replace my Nike Roshe Twos as my everyday shoes.

Edit x 2: Spoke too soon too soon, they took my money and then cancelled my order :(

      • +1

I put a warning on the last post about this… got negged. Tried.Hopefully they dont take too long to refund.
After 7 days I'm still waiting for the order to even be confirmed!

    • +3

I can confirm. Go either 0.5/1 size up. Mine felt a little tight but if I remove the inner sole it works fine.

  • +2

I need +.5. They’re narrow at the toe.

    • Yep and mine is starting to tear at the big toe because of it.

  • Just returned a cheap pair of New Balance which was a deal posted here and now have a size 14 Ultraboost 20 ordered. Hopefully they're good and I can stop stressing about shoe deals getting posted and finding them always sold out in my size.

  • Really wish I could use all those Teen giftcards I bought on the online Adidas store… Sadly instore only.

  • i need to update my nike free runs. Anyone have both? These look pretty similar

    • +1

      These actually have cushioning

  • +1

They've been out of stock of the decent colourways since the big sale a month ago.

  • Thanks OP, I ordered too small when the triple black went on sale a few days ago. Couldn't get the same colorway but a black/black/white combo isn't horrible

    • +2

Spoke too soon, they cancelled my order by email after I made it - now have to wait up to five days for a refund!

  • No stock for 7.5 size.

  • Once you go ultraboost you can't go back to the cheaper Adidas. Nothing worth buying unless it's UB lol

    • UB's are actually my least favourite adidas sneaker. They've been relegated to lazy beater shoes for me.
The NMD's are better all-rounders; more comfortable to wear for hours and be active with, and my EQT Supports are top-tier comfort and make for great walking/travelling shoes (though their size is a bit unwieldy for proper active use).

  • Have a wide foot not sure these shoes are going to suit me. Hopefully the returns process is as good as Amazon.

    • -1

I don't think you can return worn shoes

      • of course you can if you just try them on once for 5 mins. How else are you supposed to know if they fit lol

    • Easy and free returns, check the returns page on adidas website.

  • I'm wearing 9.5 Size Ultraboost 19..should I go for size 9 or 10

  • Dam the colours are so ugly. I can see why the triple black is the #1 shoes that people buy from UB

  • Is the size shown UK size or US size?

  • I have just ordered yesterday with no discount.
Could I claim to adidas 40% off?
    Need help.

    • Hahaa no mate, do you think Adidas, a multi billion dollar company is going to be like "yeah of course, we'll refund the whole amount and offer you 40% off" ha.

  • Dang, Forgot to get some for Christmas. Guessing its going to be about a month before restocks…is that right?
