their 'typical evening speeds' look a bit on the low side.

    • Yeah I’d avoid it just for that

$79.95 per month for a 50Mbit NBN connection with the promo already applied, plus be locked into a 12 month contract.
    Nah.

    • I'm paying $10 less than that now and getting 100Mbit on cable and no contract.

What's the incentive to switch to this plan?

      • Which services are you on?

        • Telstra cable.

          • +1

@jv: Isn't that going to be depreciated after 18 months of NBN being available in your area?

            • @diazepam: dunno, our area is getting FTTC…

I'm guessing I can run both simultaneously for now?

              • @jv: FTTC and Telstra cable can be run simultaneously. Telstra cable will get switched off at some point.

                • @Twix:

Telstra cable will get switched off at some point.

                  When ?

I don't like Foxtel Now, switching channels is way too slow

                  • @jv: Check your address here and scroll down to see the disconnection date information.

                    • +1

                      @Twix: Thanks…

The disconnection process for the old phone and internet network in this area is scheduled to begin on Oct 2021

                      It doesn't mention Foxtel though…

                      • @jv: Foxtel will be on a similar timeline. Check your emails and snail mail.

      • You lucky devil!!! Poor Queenslanders have an overweight ruler sitting on the hose. Testra could only supply a trickle, TPG gone slow, Mate became a joke going to try Aussiebroadband.

    • Hi bonezAU, with the promo applied the 50Mbit NBN connection will be $69.95 for 11 months and 1 Month absolutely free. Please reach out to our friendly Sales team on 1300 847 201 to get more information. Thank you.

  • Contract? No thanks.

  • Setup fee stings a bit.

Is there a setup cost involved?
Depending on your contract length there may be an activation fee for your Fibre Broadband service. This is $99 for no lock in contracts and $49 for 12 month contracts and FREE on 24 month contracts!

    Hmm. Not feeling the bargain.

    • Hi scrimshaw, Activation fee is not applied on a 24 month contract or if you purchase a router on a 12 month contract. Please reach out to our friendly Sales team on 1300 847 201 to get more information. Thank you.

Tangerine $60 pm (including $10 discount) for 50/20 no contract.
    No deal for me.
The prices are too high and has 12 month contract.

  • The fixed wireless price looks alright

    • Hi ozhunter, thank you for your feedback. We appreciate it.

  • How is quality of service and speed compared to superloop? I don't want crappy Optus-like quality of network

    • Hi zsik3115, currently our typical evening speeds are displayed within our site, with those being the average. Each state may be slightly different (Those are the minimums) as we have different CVC (Bandwidth) allowances for different states. Depending on the states, most services would be higher than our typical evening speeds advertised.

too much risk. untested provider, 12 month contract, not cheaper than competitors.

    • Hi Itwo, we appreciate the feedback, we do have promotions we can apply to services to reduce costs, however our plans advertised are our standard costs.
