    It's a MASSIVE bargain.

    Normally around $200.

Nah, bought one at Target in 2015 for $130. Sold in 2017 for $90. For $36 that was a steal noneless, steam wand is not powerful enough tho.

      • Good resale price! Did you sell it on gumtree

  • Cheers op. Ordered!

    Price error?

    • True price error

  • Already got a Dedica but at this price it's almost worth having as a spare for a Christmas gift or something.

    edit: gone any way

    • I have both. I much prefer this Icona over the Dedica. Bigger boiler, better tasting coffee and much, much better milk frother. It's plastic, so it rattles like crazy in operation. But put a hand on top of the water container while pulling and makes a massive difference.

Ordered as well but 1 of the comment below state that they receive the Dolce coffee pods machine instead.. mislabel maybe

    • Possibly, that review is from Italy though.

    • +1

      It takes pods and grinds.

Mine arrived today, was the listed item that arrived and not something different.

      • Good to hear that you got it…I missed out

If you want milk coffees then i would not go with that monstrosity of a steamer wand.

    • Surprisingly, with a big practice it does alright,

      • yes it does ok and i've had to modify mine by taking off that cover, however it isn't very consistent in quality and makes it really difficult to do latte art.

I cannot understand why Delonghi have these Panarello steam wands instead of the more simpler, working variety.

    • It’s for those who aren’t confident in making froth.

I have a Saeco with a similar wand. It’s a pain producing more froth than I know what to do with…

  • What a bargain if it comes true!

Great deal! Congrats to those who got one.

This is a good deal based on the price/saving. Having used this machine before I dont rate it and personally I would hold onto my $36. Everything about it it fiddly, basket is small land deep and normally end up with coffee everywhere. turning it from brew to steam, not rocket science but not straight forward. I found most people ended up leaving it on steam and you woudl burn the coffee. We eded up going through 2 of them and now have a BES 920. Glad to see a few good folks made a purchase. Not looking to attract negs with the comments just want people to go in informed.

  • Would rather drink instant than use one of these. Had a similar DeLonghi years ago, was terrible. If you enjoy your coffee, spend $$$ on a manual machine..

    • on a manual machine..

This is already a manual machine? No good?

  • So my MIL opened hers today and insists the coffee holder wand thing is missing. I am a bit suss. I am not planning to return it as I believe Amazon will just refund my money and I won't be able to repurchase at that price. Just curious how everyone else went with their machines? I opened mine today and it was fine and already enjoyed a nice brew. Now I am off to find some OEM parts.. probably cost more than the initial machine outlay….
