Yeah I'm not sure what their strategy is here. I ordered a week and a half ago because I thought it would be more convenient and no sign of any progress on the order even though items were in stock at the store located 10 km from me. Lesson learned!
Yep same problem here - 2 cases arrived today, exactly 2 weeks after ordering on 25/11.
Deliveries have been spot on for me lately although I do remember times when they have been very slow and that was pre-covid.
Ordered 5/11, beer and wine delivery, during flybuys promo.
No word after two weeks, rang got offshore call centre, he said he would call warehouse, they said they couldn’t find type of the beer I had ordered, I asked if they could send the wine, and I’d wait for the beer, said they would never send half an order.
Rang after three weeks and they said some stock of the beer was coming next week and I should wait.
After a month got a text saying they had partially canceled my order. Only delivering wine. Refund should. Take 5-7 seven days. Here is a $10 discount for your next online order over $50.
Rang local first choice and they said they had 5 boxes of the beer I had originally ordered.

Still seeing promos for Liquorland and first choice every day, but obviously struggling to dispatch them, very odd.
If I order from my local BWS they have a new delivery system and it arrives in 20 minutes.
yup, same here. Poor communication, inaccurate stock levels and all round terrible customer experience from these lot. Buyer beware if NOT doing a click and collect. Even then id get onto the store and make sure they actually have the stock. Their "delivery" option is just plain crap
My partner had the same problem. Multiple orders, multiple delays, multiple issues.
He has vowed never to use them again!
Unfortunate as their pricing is great, especially with Flybuy offers, but not worth the hassle or frustration.
Lesson learnt - only use c&c if we can.
Have a few stores very close by - with stock!

Went back to my local store and picked up two cartons plus a cold 6-pack—I've yet to try an alcoholic ginger beer that I haven't liked.
A team member said that's it's not as sweet as most with a nice dry finish.

It's not strongly flavoured, but it definitely doesn't taste like dirty water. I like it best icy cold.

Yeah, I definitely prefer the cashback/flybuys stacked deals as I always Click & Collect.
However, First Choice Liquor Stores are few and far between, so quite a few OzBargainers have their orders delivered. Normally you need to spend $150 to get free delivery and that's for wine and spirits. This offer allows you to get a single carton (or 10) of beer delivered.

FYI…. Went in to store to do a pick-up on some items.
Had a chat to the guy there and he told me within minutes of the offer going live they received 1000+ orders! and you be lucky to get anything delivered by mid-Jan.
So much for the "XMASDEL" code!
