Spotted these behind the customer service counter at Coles. Unsure if other stores have it too; I expect they would. The box contained a $30 SIM card and the modem; Upon activation you get 10GB (not the 5GB on the sticker). Busselton had plenty in stock.

The device is a huawei R216h.

EDIT: I previously posted that the device was locked to vodafone. It's not, it's just a bit of a PITA to change APN details. I'm posting this update using a Telstra connection via the modem. See the attached pic below for instructions on changing it to telstra.

  Good little modem. I bought it for $10 in Sept from AusPost (a previous post). Note: when I went to activate the SIM, got a 30GB plan. Also, turned off the option to go on standby in the config.

  Asked at Glenelg, SA and was told "no Coles stock Vodafone [dongles]". I guess she meant for the state?
