  • Does anyone know this would work with a chromcast? Normal (Presumably it wont work with ultra)

    • Why wouldn't it work with Ultra?

      • I was assuming some of the hd codecs might not allow this - but i havent looked into it just guessing.

    • I found that it doesn't work with Dolby Digital + which is necessary for Netflix and Amazon Prime on Google TV.

Does this allow me to connect my Xbox Series X to my TV via HDMI and my soundbar via Optical simultaneously? The Series X has no Optical out and it has an audio delay to my soundbar from the TV. Oh and will it still run at full speed HDMI bandwidth (4k 120hz HDR)?

    • Hi,
It will work with Xbox Series X. But it will not support 4k@120hz HDR. The max resolution is 4k@30hz. Do not support HDR.
Please contact us if you have any questions, we will response you with in 24 hours.
      Kind regards,
      Tendak

Do you have anything with the bandwidth to support 4K@120hz with HDR?

        • Hi,
We are sorry that we do not have this kind of item. But we are working on it.
Any questions please let us know.
          Sincerely,

  • I bought this a year ago (Nov 2019) for $26.99 so I could hook up my PS4 slim to my soundbar via TOSLINK (optical).
The box is very sensitive to movement/vibrations, and will 'reboot' (picture cuts out). I found that having it 'upright' (writing pointing up) to be the most reliable.
Unit will occasionally randomly reboot, but power cycling fixes that (unplug the USB power cable, wait about 10 seconds, then plug it back in).
Unit also has an audible whine, which increases to an annoying level when there's no input signal. I keep the power cable unplugged until I need it.

Overall a decent little unit that does what I want, no complaints on picture and sound quality. Only complaint I have on my unit is the random reboots.

    • We are really sorry for the inconvenience.
This issue has never been reported before, is this happened on other devices?
Please contact us via e-mail: [email protected] with your order number if possible, we will do our best to solve the problem for you.
      Kind regards,
      Tendak

      • Thanks for the reply. Unit is over 12 months old and I don't think it's worth pursuing. I only have the one device to test with, it's probably a bad solder joint. I haven't opened it up and had a look yet.
