This headset has been a real rollercoaster for it's price, but it is currently at the cheapest I have seen it recently.

I was holding out for the 7P or 7X to show up in Australia, but my old headset broke, so had to settle with this pair (which is still in the mail from one of the previous sales).

Note that it is currently expected to be back in stock by January 4th, so unfortunately not quick enough if it is meant to be a Christmas presend.

  Thanks ordered, before anyone asking:
  it's model 61505, 2019 edition, working for PS5 wirelessly and support 3d audio without firmware update.
  Steelseries Arctis 7 is a better option than 7P, if you intend to use it for both PC and PS4/PS5, as 7 supports more features on PC, and cheaper.
  Steelseries Arctis 9 was also recently released with bluetooth option, but expected a higher price tag in AU.
  if you already have a good bluetooth headphones, may not worth waiting Arctis 9.

    How can we even get the 9 or the 7p? I haven't found a way to buy them in Australia yet

      Have to wait a couple of months if you want to get local stock for 7p or 9.
      US Amazon or steelseries.com have also been sold out, but can ship to AU when available with RRP.
      it's unlikely discounted for 7p/9 for quite a while.
      7p works for nintendo switch handheld/dock mode, while 7 only for dock mode.
      9 comes with bluetooth, but personally I already have BOSE QC35, Sony WF-1000XM3, so I don't need it for phone.
      Besides that, not much difference to jutify the waiting time.

  Love this headset - only thing I can fault is I wish it had a swing arm boom mic for muting.

  This is a fantastic headset, had the pre 2019 version for ages. Only recently replaced with the Audeze Penrose and tbh if I didn't want to try a better sounding headset would have gladly stuck with / updated the Arctis 7s. Comfortable wearing for extended sessions, mic sounds excellent over game chat / discord and sound was good to boot for game and music. Also one thing I took for granted is they are quite light compared to other headsets which is nice.
