  I would rather not have a 12v recharger so I instead looked at the $49 one and it’s got a “Built- in 120V AC charger” - would that even work with normal Australian 230/240v?

    I dont think so, how ever i believe you may be able to charge it via your cars 12v if you weren't going to be using it often
