[Switch] 4 Games (Including Urban Flow, Paratopic) for $2.88 Total @ Nintendo eShop

1420

This is a little bit of a process, but bear with me.

Baltoro Games is running a few discounts on their titles for owning other games they've published. This deal will get you Urban Flow (80 on Metacritic and probably the main reason you'd exploit this deal), Moto Rush GT, Paratopic and S.N.I.P.E.R. Hunter Scope for a total of $2.88.

Here is the process:

Step 1:

Purchase Moto Rush GT for $1.39 using the link provided in the main post. If this isn't your cup of tea, consider any of these titles (worth checking in case you already own any of them. Moto Rush GT is the cheapest option, however):
2048 Battles
Breakfast Bar Tycoon
Burger Chef Tycoon
Classic Games Collection Vol.1
Cooking Tycoons - 3 in 1 Bundle
Cooking Tycoons 2: 3 in 1 Bundle
Flowlines VS
Food Truck Tycoon
Freecell Solitaire Deluxe
Klondike Solitaire
Ludomania
Moto Rush GT
Pizza Bar Tycoon
Salad Bar Tycoon
Solitaire Deluxe Bundle - 3 in 1
Spider Solitaire
Street Basketball
Super Battle Cards
Sushi Time!
Trancelation
World Of Solitaire

Step 2:

Having purchased Moto Rush GT (or any game listed above), purchase Paratopic for the newly reduced price of $1.49. 81% discount will show after purchasing Moto Rush GT OR any of the others previously listed.

Step 3:

After Purchasing Paratopic, you will now be eligible to claim S.N.I.P.E.R. and Urban Flow for free (100% off "Free Download" should appear on their respective eshop pages)

Even if you just wanted Urban Flow, this method will save you $3.87 as Urban Flow is currently on sale on the eshop for its all-time low of $6.75 currently

Thanks, used Gold Points to purchase.

    • Nice! Able to claim all 4?

      • +3

Yep, used points to purchase Moto Rush GT & Paratopic; and received S.N.I.P.E.R. and Urban Flow for free.

        • Good to hear

    Love work arounds like this
    Thanks op

Nice one. Worked like a charm!

  • Does anyone know when this will finish ???
Got my youngest a Switch for Xmas…Will sign up online then & hopefully get these games

    • +1

Unfortunately looks like this ends tomorrow after doing some research :/

If you have the Switch console at your house currently, it's very easy to open, set up and claim deals like this in advanced. I did something similar for a friend when QubicGames ran their free giveaways last year in the lead-up to Christmas.

      • I also got it in the cupboard waiting as an xmas gift…. considering if i should open it up, purchase the games and rewrap…

      • +1

is it possible to set up a nintendo online account without opening the switch? or can you only register from the console?

        • +2

Have to link it with the console. So you would have to unwrap and then re-wrap. Don't stress too much. This is a good deal, but the games aren't life-changing or anything. Worst case scenario is you pick up Urban Flow by itself for ~$6 or $7 on sale by itself.

    • +2

We are doing the same. We were told to take it out of the box and set it up so when they open it at Christmas it is ready to go. it is easy to open and put back in the box and they wouldn't know. we get it out at night to download the game special advertised here and put it away again.

    • Same boat.. sooooo tempted to open it..

Also used Gold Points :) confirming got all 4, Thanks OP!

  • +1

Worked great, also able to use gold point - thank you

  • I can only use my discounted gift card…….

  • any good games out of that list people would recommend?

  • The list of titles should be in Step 1. If we don't want Moto Rush GT, we can substitute that for any of the other games. The rest of the games are fixed.

    Step 1
Buy any game on the list EXCEPT Urban Flow

    Step 2
Buy Paratopic which will then unlock both S.N.I.P.E.R. - Hunter Scope and Urban Flow

    • +1

Moto Rush GP is the cheapest game from said list.

Cheapest way to make a deal is with Moto Rush, given that you were mainly after the highest-reviewed title being Urban Flow. If not, you obviously have more choices available to you although not much else stands out that wouldn't have an equivalent version available for free on Mobile.

      • But for those just following, it sounds like Step 2 is where you can choose the other games as alternative but already too late if you've bought Moto Rush GP.

Your condition of 'if not then' should be reflected in Step 1. You can then add that Moto Rush GP is the cheapest of the list.

        • I guess so. But it's also why I left Moto Rush GP out of the main title. Will adjust now.

        • How does it read now?

        • This. I would've bought solitaire 3 in 1, but got Moto Rush, which I won't play. It's the same price. Do appreciate the deal though OP.

  • Thanks!
    Spent Gold points also.

Paratopic was on my Steam wishlist anyway, and out of these (quite literal..) dime a dozen mobile-port indies on offer all the time I do enjoy and find some gems in them now and then :D

  • Any good game recommonded?

    • I personally only wanted this for Paratopic and Urban Flow. SNIPER was a nice bonus. All the other games listed are basically mobile games. Not to say you won't find enjoyment with them, but you could probably get similar games, if not the same, for free on Mobile. Moto Rush GP is the cheapest currently from that list and at least seems unique.

  • thanks op, nice bargain

  • Hmm I had to buy Moto Rush through the console but a search for paratopic brings no results, not sure what to do now so any help appreciated..

    • If you're on the console, search for "baltoro" and it may come up.

If not, sign into the aforementioned Nintendo account via your browser and use the links provided in the post.

Also I'm not sure if this is a certainty, but there's a chance if the linked account is for a child it may not bring up Paratopic as it's a mature title? This is just a guess and I have no proof of this being fact, but it wouldn't surprise me.

    • Same nintendo site search function is not the best

        • That link works mate, thanks. I'm just talking about the search function in nintendo website.

          • @Bargain-er: Don't use the Nintendo website when looking to buy via the browser. Use DekuDeals instead. More filtering options and more convenient than even navigating the eshop via console most of the time.

            • @Ninternet: Thanks a lot, appreciate it. Street basketball was shown $1.99 now $8.99 somehow.

              • @Bargain-er: Probably because when you search the eshop via a browser it automatically searches the US eshop which offers different sales and RRPs as they are a separate region from us. We normally align with Europe for most releases and discounts. You can change region on DekuDeals as well to see other regional discounts if you wanted to, but it's probably not all that useful to you.

              • @Bargain-er: ah damn, i would have liked to get that

        • Thanks, I switched to an adult account and searched with no luck, searched Baltoro with no luck, clicked on your links but keep getting; Error Code: 9001-0026
In order to continue, please access Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo Switch console linked to this Nintendo Account.
I've never been able to buy a game on the PC, always get the message to use the console..

          • +1

@manwithtwobrains: Sounds like you're having the same issue as Bargain-er. To that, I will also direct you to DekuDeals. It has price histories and keeps track of all time low prices. It provides individual links to any game you search up as well.

          • @manwithtwobrains: accidental response

  • Are any of these any good though? Or is this all to get Urban Flow cheaper?

    • +1

I've been interested in Paratopic as it seems like an inventive indie title. Sniper looks like it might be a decently fun on-rails shooter too. Moto Rush honestly interested me the least, but you could swap it out for 2048 battles or something. 2048 is free on mobile and even Hisense TVs if you have one, but this version seems to offer 8-player versus mode?

All up to personal taste. As always, worth doing your research

  • Thanks OP! Managed to score these deals via the Nintendo online shop on my phone. People in the comments not willing to open their switch Christmas present, you can buy these all online.

    • Are you sure that is possible without first linking an account to said console?

  • done. thanks

  • +1

This is why I come to ozbargain.

  • Done, what a bargain!!

  • Is there any easy way to find these kind of deals that are going on (i.e. 90-100% off IF you own X title/s)?

I wonder how many I have missed since getting the Switch… Though TBH I probably have played only 1/4 of those that went free for a sale period…

    • +1

I lucked into this in the comment section of an article on NintendoLife, then had to piece together the cheapest way to obtain them myself.

Afaik, there's no easy way to determine if things will be free for you unless you find them yourself.

  • Just to add something extra to this.

I previously purchased Urban Flow and had S.N.I.P.E.R as a free download but I just checked a moment ago and Moto Rush GT was a free download for me too so in theory there's something else possibly or a better combination of deals to be had.

I also own Klondike Solitaire for reference if that makes any difference.

    • You'll also be eligible to receive Paratopic as a free download too. Check that out.

      • Hmm nope, it's showing up at being on sale for $1.49, not a free download for me.

        • Huh. I must have overlooked that part in my research

  • Amazing deal, thank you OP! ✨

  • Thanks OP! I followed the instructions and got everything listed!

  • Dont buy the solitare games. They are basically minimum effort ports of mobile games. Some of them like Freecell are basically not working

  • I could buy the first two as described but now S.N.I.P.E.R and Urban Flow are 90%, not 100%, do I have to do something more? (not on my console atm)

    • Unless they've made a fix with the influx of redemptions I'm not too sure. Try with your console and let us know? Might have expired, but hopefully you can fix it

      • I'm a few hours from the console, I'll update once I can check there 😊

        • We're you by chance using an account tied to another region?

          • @Ninternet: That is actually possible, but not that I know.

Definitely 90% for me, on the device

      • +1

        Still working

    • Did you get it to work? Has deal expired?

      EDIT: Still working. Just bought

      • No, I'm just unlucky then. Thanks for confirming it worked for you

    • Are you sure you've bought Paratopic? Double check as that is required to get the other 2 for free.

  • Seems like its a bit too long and tedious of a process to be an effective "workaround", but GG EZ OP ;)

  • Is it for AU store only? On US store Breakfast Bar Tycoon appears to be free for me however Paratopic is 3.29 even after owning Breakfast Bar Tycoon.

    • I'm gonna say Paratopic is for Australian/European regions.

      • I tried using my AU account, Breakfast Bar Tycoon and Ludomania appeared to be "Purchased" however Paratopic is still shown as 8.25 ;(

      • I suspect it might be because my US account owned those two games so it also showed "Purchased" for my other account on the same machine?

        • I've heard of that being an issue. It's also why when I purchase from other regions, I now just change my main account over rather than rely on a second account.

          • @Ninternet: Yeah one account is ideal, only issue being US account needs to have 0 balance to be able to switch to other regions.

  • Thanks OP, awesome and so easy

  • It still works. Thanks OP.

  • Worked like a charm. Thank You OP.

  • Good one. Easy to follow and works exactly as stated.

  • Great deal - thanks OP!

  • I think it's now over, Urban Flow and SNIPER now full price :(

    • true, after i wasted a couple of dollars on two rubbish games…

  • There's an Urban Flow Extended Edition for $5.09 (RRP $25.49).

    • That's pretty good actually! Is that after you've purchased another Baltoro game or just the regular sale price?

    • Just found that the DLC itself is only $2.99 so that's not too big of an upgrade cost for people who only got the vanilla version through this deal
