Been keeping this in my shopping cart until prices drop - or Supercheap Auto has a sale. Amazon matches previous non-Prime low for the 120 a few weeks ago. Prime had it at $80 I believe.

Also, AQT 100 going for $79, again not historical low, but makes for quick and easy summer deck cleanout.

  • I bought one a couple of month to wash my car and do the job for the price very noisy and kind of annoying the way the Inlet and outlet hose are located. But beside that good pressure and the 360° nose helps into difficult and tidy locations.

    • And also no wheels an issue too?

      • +33

        Not wheely good then 😔

      • +2

It probably doesn't weigh enough to justify having wheels. It's only 5.2 kg. You can pick that up with one hand no worries. It's designed for hand carrying.

        • Actually i made a mistake. I was looking at the Amazon product information which must have been the boxed weight. The actual tech details says that the pressure washer itself it only weighs 3.75 kg. That's light as for a pressure washer.

      • +5

Personally I have no issues with the noise. At this price, I think it's a great unit. I also bought a 6m extension hose for a little under $30 which I think beats wheeling the unit around anyway.

      • I've owned a Ryobi pressure washers for 4-5 years and I barely use the wheels, and I'm not exactly sure why, but it's easy enough to just carry.

        • +1

Smallish hard plastic wheels over concrete and grass make them almost useless, particularly when you have a tangled mess of hose and power lead.

      • +1

Even with wheels you end up carrying if you let the hose and the power leads become a tangled mess. Easier just to get an extension hose and set it up in one spot, at least for car wash purposes.

    • Ae you sure this one comes with the 360* nozzle? It looks like that's only with the cheaper 100 model?

  • Been eyeing on a pressure washer for a while now. Wanted a Gerni from bunnings but don't think they will ever go on sale.

Will this be a good choice over the Gerni?

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/gerni-1810psi-1500w-high-pressur…

    • +1

I'm looking at getting this same Gerni but with the extra accessories for $199.00

IMO Gerni is a better brand than Bosch for pressure cleaners.

      • +1

Have heard good things about Gerni and also believe they comes with metal pump which last much longer compare to plastic pump?

Are you going to bite the bullet for $199.00?

I literally visit bunnings page daily to make sure I don't miss out if they ever go on special.

        • +3

Set up a price alert on price hipster

        • the prices fluctuate, and different stores sell with different accessories so they have a different SKU

      • I'm leaning towards Gerni as well. 5 year warranty vs. Bosch 3 year. Also some extra attachments included. But seems unlikely it will go on sale especially since Bunnings is the exclusive retailer now.

      • +1

I went with the Gerni with the accessories. 5 year warranty and with the included accessories, it's a no brainer. Patio cleaning attachments are quite expensive.

        • +1

I had a Gerni. Was good while it lasted and then it broke. Best thing about getting from Bunnings is the easy return. Took it in and they offered to replace or refund, no questions asked.

          • @bulletbill88: I had the previous version as well and it broke after only a few uses and got refunded at Bunnings. With 5 year warranty, willing to give it another chance.

Can anyone confirm that this accessory kit is compatible with this unit - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Bosch-Water-Blaster-Car-Care-Kit… ?

    • If it is the same one as listed on the SCA website I'd say it will fit. The extension alone is $28 however you get a foam bottle anyway with the 120. The brush I'm not sold on ($8 @ Supercheap) if you have your own brishes as well as the 90 degree bend ($11).. Microfibres are ? quality.. they do have Bosch on them though if that's your go.

      • Yep same model on both SCA eBay store and SCA website.

This doesn't look like it's big enough to have a metal pump over a plastic one, but I don't know for sure

  • It sucks that Bosch doesn't include the 360 nozzle on this one, but does on the cheaper Easyaquatak 100 with shorter hose.

  • +4

The bigger 125 ($148) and 130 ($199) models are also on sale

  • Good price, been eyeing this off for a while. It mentions being a self priming pump, I can assume you can put a piece of hose with a connector to plug into it and the other end into a bucket, or do I need that self priming hose as well? It just looks like the aforementioned with a one way valve on the end

    • +1

I've used a few in the past that advertised themselves as being self priming but still required manual priming. I think this Bosch is one of those. It states to be self priming but people in the comments said they needed to manually prime. I'd be very hesitant to see 'self priming' and think it can suck up water from a bucket while the pump is dry unless people specifically state it can be done with a particular model. Manually priming really isn't hard though.

I've had ones where they state they can't suck up from a bucket but with manual priming could be done. I have an old Karcher Winner 11 that specifically stated it could not suck up from a bucket of water, but with manual priming - it did.

      • +1

Can confirm the Aquatak 125 is self priming. Will draw water from a bucket from dry start. No intervention required.

        • Good to know, I ordered the Aquatak 100 so it'd be nice to not have to manual prime.

  • i received the 100 from last deal, however it was leaking oil (the whole machine and the box was oily) when i received it. i returned and got a refund.

  • Given the discussion around PW, wondering if you can give me a recommendation around PW, I wanted to get one to clean my concrete patio (installing tiles) as well as general cleaning around the house, but not sure what PSI to get or what brand, was looking at FB for some used ones, range from 1450-2300PSI. Cheers

I think the Bunnings Homelite for $48 is too hard to pass up. It has a 5m hose, comes with the detergent attachment and is on wheels (I think I saw it has wheels instore but on the link I'm not sure), so it should be good for a large patio. Just a detergent attachment and replacement lance for a Gerni or Ryobi is more than $48. If it doesn't work for your patio then take it back for a refund.

      https://www.bunnings.com.au/homelite-1400w-1450psi-pressure-…

I'm considering the Bosch because of the 360* nozzle on the EasyAquatak 100. It really sucks they don't include that handle with the more expensive units, so you'll be stuck with a 3m hose and no wheels if you want that nozzle. That nozzle allows cleaning high up apartment windows from inside by sticking just the handle outside and also getting into places a long lance just can't.

If I didn't NEED a 360* nozzle I'd go the Homelite from Bunnings before judging if I needed to spend anymore. The reviews on the website seem very good actually. Bunnings returns are great within reason, and if it can't clean a patio I'd think that's within reason.

      • Thanks, yeah was heading that direction too :)

      • Cheers I'm going to give this a go before I spend anymore, sounds like it will do the job for me.

        • I should have added in my post it depends on the size of your patio. I wrote that it would be fine for a large patio, but fine is subjective.

If you have a large patio then a higher rated cleaner with patio cleaning attachment may be worth the extra money. The normal lances are fine for cleaning small to medium size (subjective: I live in CBD so my medium might be extra small to others), but if you have a large patio then the time savings over a year or two in using a patio attachment with a more powerful unit may be worth it.

  • I like this model due to portability and not requiring a hose attachment along with powered by mains instead of battery which gives better pressure.

I was looking at the battery-powered models but the pressure just didn’t seem good enough for cleaning (ok for washing car)

  • Any recommendation to clean up outdoor tiles as it will took me a while to use this head to clean up all the tiles?

    • I have this model (or one very similar) and I just bought a Karcher patio cleaner head off fb marketplace for $10 as it comes with a Karcher adapter. Really cuts down on the time it takes

      • Thanks, didn't know Karcher had the head for patio cleaning.

  • My one didn’t come with the 3in1 nozzle, all seperate ones instead, but did come with a karcher adapter. The soap spray that comes with it is garbage compared to a proper one, dispenses very fast. Other than that I really like it, didn’t find hose to short and it’s nice and light.

    • Which one did you get? Did it come with the 360 nozzle?

      • EasyAquatak 120, at the time the 3in1 was in the photos and description. No it didn't come with the 360, though wasn't expecting that.

  • Is it legal to wash my car with this? WA if this matter.

    • +3

      Doesn't look like it:
      https://www.watercorporation.com.au/Help-and-advice/Watering…

Very weird in WA you're allowed to wash your car with a hose, but not use a pressure washer that would use less water to do it.

      • Far out…
Wouldn't have even thought to check if this was legal.
The Pressure Washer would be far more water efficient…and yet…. it's just mind blowing.

        What an absolute joke -_-

      • +1

Makes no sense. In NSW you could use a pressure washer that runs off a bucket during the height of restrictions.

        • Yeah it doesn't make sense. Pressure washers apart from using less water than a garden hose to wash a car, can be hooked up to rain/reclaimed water tanks too, so to see that their use is prohibited outright seems counter intuitive.

I'm trying to find another source of information to back up the original one I found, but I'm having a hard time doing so. Maybe a W.A. native can chime in?

    120 not available

  • Tempted. This is probably better than my POS Ozito.

The 360 degree gun can be purchased separately at Mitre 10 for $49
    https://www.mitre10.com.au/bosch-diy-pressure-washer-360-deg…
My water pressure cleaner is a Karcher and it continues to work well for more than 15 years. Not sure of it's pressure but at least medium size and blast cleans bricks, retaining walls and driveways readily, however for those smaller items it is perhaps too powerful.
This more portable 360 degree gun model at $79 prime delivered seems like a handy tool at an affordable price.

    • +2

I ended up buying the 100 model with the 360* nozzle as I need that attachment. I really don't understand why Bosch doesn't include it with the higher up models with longer hoses and more power. I would have purchased the 120 model or higher if it did. That nozzle is very useful and from what I've found it seems Bosch are the only ones to make a 360* pressure cleaning nozzle in a short handle with no lance.

It's much better value to get the pressure washer that comes with that nozzle than purchase the nozzle separately.

For a dollar less than what Bosch charges just for the 360* nozzle/handle you can get an entire pressure washing kit from Bunnings.

  • I just returned mine to Amazon. First hour of using it, started to smell like it was overheating and then smoke was coming out. Amazon were great. No hassles returning but personally will be sticking to Karcher from now on.

    • I'd be surprised if any of these consumer grade machines have a long duty cycle so if you were using it continuously for a long time it's not surprising that it will start complaining.

Otherwise you could have just got a dud. Could happen with any brand.

  • The offer is not available anymore. Cheers!

    • it is still available right at the moment.

      • It is the 100 bar, not the 120 as titled. Cheers

  • I got this washer. No complaints.

  • I have this washer, I like it. However I did buy an extension hose as carrying it around is cumbersome. (Hose and power attached)

  • Buy now or wait for boxing day sales? I have CC price protection.

  • Is it a WA thing that none of these links from Bunnings are working??

    All I get are
    "You Might Also Like"
    And
"People Who Bought This Item Also Bought"

But none of these Bunnings links above go to any products as described.
