Thermaltake WaterRam 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR4 3200MHz Liquid Cooled Memory $139 + Delivery (Free Pickup) @ Mwave

50

Not as good as the other deal posted by Ark94, unless you want double the bling if your motherboard supports it.

For a good descriptions of these water cooled bad boys, see the original post: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/592659

Is it possible to use mountain dew as the coolant liquid?

    • +2

Of course. It automatically overclocks your ram too if you use it.

    • Just use coconut water! It cools better than distilled water. (;-)

      Use kool-aid, it's better for cooling….

      I'll see myself out.

only if you are building an XTREME rig

      Best coolant. Excellent thermal properties.

  • Next you can watercool your NVME drives like this one.

    https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B082NJTVSB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_f…

    • That almost makes more sense as some do need a heat sink otherwise they get a bit hot.

  • This just adds another possible failure point.

  • Watercooled and 3200mhz… how pitiful

  • Just want to leave a comment for anyone that thinks ram runs hot enough for it to need water cooling

    No, it really does not.

Yes if you chuck like 2v into it (normally they run at 1.2-1.4v), then it'll get hotter, it's not a daily use scenario

This is an aesthetic item, if you already have a custom water cooling loop, and it's not insanely overpriced for a colourful trinket, but, it is unnecessary.

  • price drop from 149 to 139. Deal ends 17th Jan

Still not worth buying because its slow 3200mhz memory :P
