    • how are these compared to samsung?

      • I had the same question.
Last Saturday in Costco, I was looking at two models - TCL 75C815 and Samsung 75 UT8000.
Samsung one is LED while TCL panel is QLED. Even so, the Costco staff recommended me the Samsung one.

I am happy with the picture quality. You'd better go to the store to see them in person.

  • I think I saw the C815 cheaper at Costco yesterday but I can’t remember the exact price .. it was something like a $560 rebate

TCL 50" Ultra HD OLED Android TV (50C715) $749

That’s a cheap OLED, how does it compare to the CX 48” /s

    • +3

Yo, I think the C715 is an QLED, not OLED model…

I know, I was being sarcastic, hence /s

How does sarcasm rate against punny usernames?

  • any Sonos Arc's in black available?

    • I think there should be

    • Doesn’t even look like they sell the arc when you check the website?

      • yeh they don't.

kind find a black arc anywhere at full price let alone on sale

  • @rockstartmt I tried looking up 50C715 on the myer website but it doesn't come up? Does myer ever stock it? I am so confused…

  • It's cheaper at JB.

Such a great price to open a backdoor for CCP surveillance lol

    https://www.dhs.gov/news/2020/12/21/acting-secretary-chad-f-…

DHS is reviewing entities such as the Chinese manufacturer TCL. This year it was discovered that TCL incorporated backdoors into all of its TV sets exposing users to cyber breaches and data exfiltration. TCL also receives CCP state support to compete in the global electronics market, which has propelled it to the third largest television manufacturer in the world.

    • Yep saw that.. Crazy but not surprising :) love how they patched the TV's without user even knowing, I.e. They had full control of the device remotely ( not talking auto update either)…

    • I do not advocate for TCL, however most TVs will spy on you if you connect them to the Internet. Granted, giving the CCP access to your network is way worse than a western company selling data of what you watch to advertisers.

If that's something that concerns you, either get a dumb TV or do not plug it into your network.
