    I use them with Ram-Mount balls and arms I already had to mount gopros, phone/tablet/GPS cradles and such, in non-permanent locations.. Kinda like:

    Pretty handy if you do video work etc. allows easy mounting of Microphone hot shoes and other gear on handles etc. Ive got a few of these already but thinking about getting a few more

        I'd say yes. Take a lot of photos also and can be used to clamp mounting brackets onto arms etc for reflectors . Ive got some Big heavy duty Manfrotto Superclamps for the heavy stuff but these little ones are handy for smaller things. You could also use them for Gopros and similar with a male/male spigot and the tripod mount
