Has anyone else had a problem with these gift cards? I purchased a $100 one after signing up for ShopBack and reading this, and it didn't work. The IKEA website threw an error, as did the checkouts. Purchased another $20 one. Same story. Contacted ShopBack only to be told that it was IKEA's problem, and they couldn't pursue it due to privacy. Contacted IKEA who told me that the cards should be valid, and showed on the system, but that the funds weren't being made available by ShopBack. So it's ShopBack's problem. No reply from ShopBack. I've just donated $120 to someone at ShopBack/IKEA and gotten nothing in return. Surely someone would have spoken up if this thing was a scam, right?
That's really concerning; let us know how it goes. I'd keep emailing SB until they give an answer.
Oh I have been. Since September. Just drove an hour into IKEA today to obtain a paper receipt as proof of investigating the card with IKEA. Still the same answer from them, looks totally fine, works not at all.
Did you end up getting this resolved?
