  • Just got this too.

  • Yep. Me too got message. Looks like gift cards are allowed. Just like Amazon deal.

    • if gift cards are allowed even better!

      • Doesn't say you can't buy a gift card. We'll see.

        • Also it wouldn't show on the statement what you have bought at Coles, so just need to make a minimum spend of $150 in one or more transactions.
Looks like u can also spend at Coles Express, so I guess you can fill up petrol.

I don't think Citibank can get that much detail from Coles i.e) detailed item purchased for the credit card transaction

        • Let's hope so, about to blow 150 dollars

    • Amazon one works for gift card? So just buy gift card on Amazon website?
I got that offer, not sure what to buy for $200 yet.

      • Yep, you can buy Amazon gift card. I think it was widely discussed in that deal page. Just browse through it.

  • +1

So effectively 20% off, if you needed to buy something with the giftcard anyway.

  • Got it also, so time to spend 150$!!

  • +3

why dont i ever get targetted deals

    • +1

ensure you're not unsubscribed from marketing stuffs.

      • +1

i had all consent to contact to all NO maybe thats why haha. ive changed it now

        • i had all consent to contact to all 'YES' but still didn't receive offer….very targetted

  • yep just got this too - pondering whether I should use flybuys or keep bonus spend to $50!

  • +1

Arh…nothing for me. I checked online account Consent To Contact page and changed to allow SMS and email.

  • What does “transactions made through a third party payment processor” mean?

    • +2

      e.g. PayPal

  • This works well with spend $210 get 8000 flybuys points, just gotta remember not to spend it on gift cards.

  • I got the Amazon offer but not this one.

    • Amazon one was in mail, this one as mobile SMS. Check your mobile.

    • I got both , Amazon via email and this one by text message

I got my citi card today and ready to go! Nice looking card too! It says $150 in one or more shops. So it means a total of $150 spent at Coles by 31 Jan. Pretty easy.

  • thats 3 weeks of grocery for me, no thanks

    • +5

Get a gift card of your liking…if you don't want groceries.

    • +3

Also this is valid till 31st Jan in one or more transactions, so should be easy.

  • Has anyone received a promo regarding their quick cash and $200 gift card? Not sure if it's worth it

    • Yep. 6.99% p.a. If you take out $500 and pay it off as soon as you get the GC within 10 weeks you are still in front.

      • This only get you $100 gc

        • I got the quick cash one and also for the FPO gift card offer. I have actually taken up the FPO offer - take $500 on the FPO (fixed payment option) at 0%, one off 2.49% set up charge and gives you $100 gift card. I have just set it up, the fee was about $12.50 and I am told the gift card will be given in 12 weeks.

          • @Dealking: hmm do you know what happens to the existing $200 balance from the earlier Citibank Amazon offer https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/585981

            • @garbagetnt: Sorry, I didn’t get the Amazon one, but if you are targeted I would guess you should be able to use it.

          • @Dealking: Keep your fixed payment ongoing until then do not pay it off until you receive the $100 gift card this what they told me when I asked about t&c

            • +1

@Cheapass1995: Thanks for the tip! They didn’t tell me that, wasn’t planning to pay it off anyways. Who doesn’t like interest free money 😄

      • U got a better offer. I got that quick cash too but at 11.99% p.a. Also, they only give $100 for $500-$6000 and $200 only if I take over $6000. Not worth it. I also got the fixed payment offer below.

  • Is kogan card included?

    • Amex has an offer for kogan if you were wondering

  • Damn. Contact by SMS is set to "no".

  • Anyone get this on their Coles credit card? (Owned by citibank)

  • correct me if wrong but i think only directly issued citibank bank cards get these offers not affiliated branded ones like suncorp? i got the fpo offer 0%, a one off 2.49% fee but must be taken by 23 dec . also took up a citipay all due to pay out on 29 dec. so if i take up this offer and buy a coles gift card today and transfer $150 account to cover balance it wont clear in time and thus 55 day interest free days is forfeited so would i have to pay interest on purchases?

  • I got Amazon but not this one.

    • Same! got the Amazon one but not the Coles one
Last year I did got the Kogan one tho

  • +2

Good deal but wish Citi wouldn't spam so much

    • Yeah I just search my junk now once I see something on ozbargain. So much spam

  • So citibank will email the giftcard after the $150 is spent? Thanks!

    • yes 8 weeks after the offer end date (which is 31st jan)

  • Will this work for Liqorland?

    • Please click through to the link - it answers your question.

Offer is valid at Coles Supermarkets, Coles Online and Coles Express.

  • Yeah even I got this one, but not the Amazon one. Wondering if fuel at coles express will be a valid entry to be qualified for this 30$ gift card offer?
