One of the best roguelikes in recent years is on sale again. This app is only available on iPad. Includes the advanced edition content update.

Price is $1.99 on the US store.

In FTL you experience the atmosphere of running a spaceship trying to save the galaxy. It's a dangerous mission, with every encounter presenting a unique challenge with multiple solutions. What will you do if a heavy missile barrage shuts down your shields? Reroute all power to the engines in an attempt to escape, power up additional weapons to blow your enemy out of the sky, or take the fight to them with a boarding party? This "spaceship simulation roguelike-like" allows you to take your ship and crew on an adventure through a randomly generated galaxy filled with glory and bitter defeat.

      How do the controls work for that? Is it possible to change the GUI to touchscreen?

        I've tried it with a .dll mod that enabled touch - it worked okay but certainly not as polished as the iPad version is.

        In other good news, though, Into The Breach now has touch AND controller support - so maybe we'll get that on mobile as well??

  love this game so much, i have 54 hours invested into it on steam, which considering how some games can be devastatingly short, says a lot about it.

  (The only one beating it is Rimworld on 318 hours jesus)

  If you want a fun, touch resource managing combat game, get this one!

  The learning curve might be a bit steep but there's so much fun to be had!

      I bloody loved Don't Starve so i did buy Oxygen not included when it was on sale sometime ago, i haven't spent as much time on it as it didn't immediately grab me. But maybe i should fire it up again!

        Trust me.. do it. If you like RimWorld.. it's phenomenal in its own way. The art work is takeitorleaveit but it's got way more depth than it seems.. maybe even more than RimWorld in some ways (not that I've put as much time into RimWorld, but things like gas pressure need to be managed).

        Fire it up!!

  I’ve got this game for a while now.

  How do you beat this game?!

  A lot of it seems to be by chance to get the right weapon for the end boss. Which I seems to never get.
