SCA sale keeps getting earlier. Used to be boxing day. Then they started it Christmas day. Now it's Christmas eve afternoon.

I was like why would you swap 5% off when they're doing the big sale tomorrow. Then saw it starts 2pm.

Got an hour to get my "what do I need for car" list sorted!

    • imma need that list

      • Pretty light this year thanks to covid.

Only needed one 5L oil + filter + air filter. Probably could go 2 years on the air filter given how little driving this year but it's not expensive.

Picked up a dedicated windscreen towel from Bowden's cuz why not. Rest of my hoarded cleaning supplies will go another year

Last year was a bigger shop, needed fuel filter + spark plugs + transaxle oil on top the regular.

        • oh nice, mine's a steering wheel cover, jerry can, microfibres for the windows, powerwasher(?), maybe some bumpstoppers idk

I bought some things in the last 14 days at full price which are now 30% off but no loyalty credit is applied. Anyone noticed the same?

    • +2

Yep this is what I wanted to check come 2pm today… No loyalty credits applied to mine either.

      Club Plus Price Promise

If an item you just purchased goes on-sale within two weeks we’ll automatically credit you the difference!

Only question is how long usually does it take to auto credit?

Edit: Ok, online chat indicated the credit is applied when the sale ends.

Buyer beware too not everything is a bargain with these guys eg this oil $10 cheaper at Ripco https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/castrol-castrol-magnatec…
    Vs
    https://www.repco.com.au/en/oils-fluids/engine-oils-fluids/e…

    • it always pays to check the specials across stores.

      • In other news, water is wet

    • yeah I checked for my car's parts (e.g. filters). Most of them I can find cheaper on eBay (reputed eBay sellers)

Is this working for anyone ?
I get an error when I use the code, I'm logged in etc. After hitting apply for the coupon it loads to a page showing a JSON response
    {"success":false,"sid":"payment"}

    • Yep. Just bought awning wall on clearance, $27.92 after the extra 5% off

    • +1

Yes i got that, missed out on the 5%

    • (profanity) same issue. Oh well.

    • I was getting that issue but found it worked after selecting a payment method first (Paypal or card) and then entering the code

  • I disabled my VPN, working now.
