I had a look at other pictures, yes it looks normal.
Maybe this TV is one of those “rolling” ones which rolls into the bottom (height of TV changes) and makes the screen smaller, makes sense considering price.

$700 from 75 to 85 is good, normally it’s quite a big jump in price.
Can't really compare that TV to this one. The C815 series (the one in this deal) has a QLED panel and comes in somewhere between Samsung Q60T and Q70T whereas the P715 series compares (poorly) to the Samsung TU8000.
Also need to consider the fact that the C815 has a pretty decent soundbar integrated into it.

Great price for the TV itself however. FYI it's the same price at JB HiFi (but no $250 gift card).
