Problem with myer is they start from even higher than rrp price so any % off is still high

  • how much is mw3 after discount ?

They dont have any new games. The latest game they wil have is la noire and that will be stickered at about $120

      • no game or accessory over $50 at my local myer

  • Was a good plave for trade baits at jb but now jb shut shop on trades then nopoint getting these games

So is $18 for Donkey Kong not cheap? I have no idea, I just thought it was cheap and my son wanted it. I have had my eye on the mariokart with wheel and the cheapest in catalogues I have seen is $69 so I also thought the $30 was a bargain.

    • i dont have a wii so not sure what cheap and not but for ps3 & xbox myer just off on being great prices.

This is a good resource to check prices

I can tell you for a fact that $18 for Donkey Kong Returns is a MAJOR bargain. 1st party nintendo games rarely go for less than $30 at any sale. Likewise for Mario kart, another worthy bargain.

I will be going to my local Myer tomorrow in hopes to get Donkey Kong alone.

  • Could be some good deals. But most stores stopped stocking recent games at all. Wollongong myer has a lot of old games.

    • Im counting on them to still have a zelda or pokemon white/black.

they only had a few left when i went in a month ago when they had that other deal on, the 50% off one.
they had the game marked at $60, but wanted 35$ because its normally $70 (over priced), pointed out it said "off marked price" and got it cheaper.

Wonder if gong still has any left.

  • I picked the ps3 sharpshooter up for $50 odd dollars and the nav contoller to go with it was $20. This was a month ago so if they are now another 40% off that would be a steal.

That's an insanely good deal on Donkey Kong, since first party Nintendo titles rarely drop in price.

Most Myer stores near me have no decent titles left though, after the games clearance sales they had a few months back.

  • Myer's exiting the games business, that's why they're so cheap.

  • No such sale at Myer Macquarie, NSW.

    • Myer macquarie has a terrible games section, same with hornsby. the games on 'clearance' are always stickered between $50-$80, hardly clearance prices!

I prefer the harvey norman sales, they had a great one about 18 months ago with new releases bargains for about $10 each and some games only costing $5 on 360/ps3 got a heap of trade baits.

myer is also offering ps3 move game 3 titles for $20.i bought some for gifts.

  • You can't even buy second hand copy of Donkey Kong Wii for $20 so this is an absolute steal. Same for Mario Kart Wii with wheel.

  • As someone who works at Myer and visits a few stores, I can say there are definitely gaming bargains to be had, but the range and prices vary greatly store-to-store, day-to-day. I managed to pick up these bargains…

    FIFA 2011 - $13
    Pokemon Platinum (DS) - $12
Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits (Wii) - $9
    1000 Wii Points Card - $4.50

  • Any xbox 360 games?

    • Yes, there's games for all platforms. But again, price and range vary store-to-store.

  • At wollongong myer it's only 40% off wii and ds. Not a huge range either

  • Jen used to be hot.

  • Not on at Doncaster, Forrest Hill or Chadstone apparently

  • I went to Myer Rundle Mall just then. The range is very limited as many of the good stuff was plucked clean.

    But I did manage to get;
    Dragon Quest 9 $18
    Dragon Quest 6 $18
Harvest Moon; Tree of TRanquility $18
    Kirby Epic Yarn $30
    Samurai Warriors 3 $18
Red Steel 2 with motion plus $18
    Zelda Spirit Tracks $30
Link's Cross Bow training with zapper $18
yes I spent too much, but cheapness wins over self guilt.

    I also saw
    Golden Sun $18
    Super Paper Mario $30
Eyetoy pet with eyetoy PS3 $20
Eyetoy pet with microphone (i think) PSP $20
    Fossil Fighters $18
    Warioware DIY $18
Zelda Twilight Princess (non-select box) $30
    ….aaaaand so on.

    • Oh, also I saw people get a PS3 for 20% off with choice of any 5 games.
And some one bought a 3DS (or maybe it was a DSi… wasn't really paying much attention) for $200 with choice of any 5 games. So if i had more money I would have gotten a 3DS.

      • Just bought a Kinect 250gb bundle at 20% = $399.20.. (not cheap) but got 3ds Zelda, 3ds Super street fighter, 3ds Nintendogs, White night chronicles and NDS pokemon soulsilver for free… (used my $550 of vouchers for $500 as well…)

  • Got Donkey Kong Country Returns, Goldeneye Collectors Edition w/ classic controller, Monster Hunter Tri for $30 each & Rabbids Party Collection (RR, RR2, TV party) for $18. Xmas almost all sown up :D
