    Works out to be:

    • $10/month (30 days)
    • 18GB/month (total 108GB across 180 days)
    • Data rollover included for the unused data
    • Unlimited standard national Calls & Text
    • Unlimited International Calls to 15 destinations — Canada, mainland China, France, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States

    Not bad at all!

  • Wonder what strategy Optus is heading to with launching Gomo and buying Amaysim.

Having as much of the cake as possible to themselves I'm guessing. They know that there are price sensitive consumers and also consumers who don't care and are happy walking around with an iPhone 12 Pro or S20 Ultra with $130 a month bills.

Nopes. $10 sims include first month $25 credit. So its $60 for first 6 months

I’ll just say, jumped on this when they did the $1 first month, now into my second (6 months for $51 total).

Exactly the same coverage and speed as the full Optus network, easy as. Data banking is handy too.

Will have another look when the 6 months is up though, as $25/18gb pm isn’t “market leading” on its own.

  • This will need some extra unlimited data at least at 1.5mbps to tempt me.

    • How much data does everyone need? 18gb is heaps for my phone.

  • I can't get their checkout to work across 3 different mobile browsers (Firefox, Chrome, built-in Android). Makes me significantly less interested in signing up with them…

edit: got there in the end, something uBlock didn't like (but was still failing on the other two browsers…?). Not impressed that it fails to load without trackers though. Also not impressed that I can't paste into fields (email, address), and losing and re-focusing the address field clears it (trying to manually enter a parcel locker).

  • FYI Promocode is expired as of today

  • As pointed out I tried buying this and the Promocode has expired by Cellmate still has it.
