These look to be a bargain if they have your size. I wear these at work and can vouch for their lightness and comfort.

  • Good brand, I use the sitemaster lite. Employer pays for my safety boots, so not of interest here.

  • Can't add to cart. I click buy now but it never ends up in the cart…

    • I can only add the 3, 3.5, 4 and 4.5 in the cart.

Just tried every size, same issue only for sizes 11, 13 & 14. Guessing there out of stock for those sizes, hence the error.

      • Size 14 adds to cart now.

  • Look like the boots the Police officers in WA wear, if so they must be good

    • Staff in the workwear shop I use told me that Police & Paramedics in WA use them.

      • And SA too. Great boots.

    • I used them as a foot patrol cop in Vic too, but that was 10 + years ago. Great boots back then at least.

    • You'll find many of them wear 511 boots also (similar to this) as they're much lighter for general duties, but multipurpose enough that they can wear them to court.

I've got two pairs of 511's and love them as they are extremely lightweight and durable. One in black and one in desert. But the desert ones aren't very good with water due to the suede material.

They have heaps of styles in non composite too https://www.aussiedisposals.com.au/footwear/magnum-footwear/…

  • My experience with magnum boots isn’t great.
They were comfortable but I they were also heavy, bulky, hot and had terrible durability. It wasn’t this model but going through four pairs when one pair of decent boots would still be going strong is enough for me to never spend my own money on them.

But maybe they have improved as this was a few years ago.

On the contrary, I walked into a safety shop in Q1 '20 with no budget, seeking the most comfortable (and lightest) boots they had as my job involves plenty of walking and travel. I tried all the expensive composites in store and the cheaper magnum sitemaster's won. I added gel insoles and I'm still happy with the choice, they feel like a pair of trainers. No probs with durability yet.

I do recommend trying this brand on for size as I had to take a half size larger than usual.

I didn’t get a choice in model as I don’t think they make too many kinds that are rated for fire and it was whatever we had in the store. If you got more than a month or two out of them you were lucky, or not doing much work.

    • I've had Magnums also but switched to 511 due to the difference in weight. My brother has Original S.W.A.T. which I have tried out, but I still find them a little bit too heavy. He has them for security and is a much larger guy so the weight probably doesn't bother him as much.

  • hmmm all Magnums on sale for $50 not just the ones in OP
    no good sizes though :/

  • Thanks OP just got one size 11 ,but from their shop in Dandenong
