  I had a 6 month premium trial for this and saw no reason to use it over Cryptomator. Not sure why you'd bother.

    Thanks mate , was looking for a good free one.

    If i encrypt by Cryptomator , what happens if i access the web ui of the drive while encrypted? will i get a prompt of password for decryption? or i have to use only the Cryptomator software to allow access? i mean for the time i use my mobile or have no access to the software to decrypt , what happens?

      Cryptomator has mobile apps (although they do make you pay for them) but the only way to decrypt is with the software. I guess the mobile access is solved but you will be forced to use the software to decrypt the files if you need them. If you access the WebUI it'll just be gibberish without the software.

      rclone is another option if you can use CLI but it won't be as elegant as using Cryptomator or Boxcryptor. But rclone does have free Android apps last time I checked.

      No matter the solution, you will require the software to decrypt.

  So it encrypts your files, and if you forget to decrypt them before the end of the free trial, you lose access to them unless you pay a fee? That's not a lot different from ransomware.
