    It is a bargain, A family with 4 kids can travel for just $70 in total and you can still spend decent time in the island. Also just the ferry ride for the kids is also worth the trip.

        I saw captain cook cruises charging $92 for a family of 4 just to go up the swan river

    so catch a ferry at 2.15 & get there 2.30pm. now you have 2-4hrs before coming back. + Rottnest Island Government Admission Fee $39 (i hope that is not per person)

  After having a look at the return times on the same day, they seem much later than I expected (e.g. 10pm/11pm).
