    i have one with a 970 evo. it runs constant 140mbps with usb 3 but havent tested with usb c.

      Mine stays at 300MB constant…. Even with USBC… Something doesn't make it go up to 1GBPS…

      Only tried mine with USBc and it's VERY fast with 970 Evo plus. Earlier today it transferred 70gb in just under 5min!!

  Cooling is decent, but it has a ASM2362 and kind of overpriced.
  You can find Orico enclosures with a RTL9210 chipset which is more power efficient for 1/2 the price and doesn’t scream tacky.
  Rgb lights on this is kind of overkill

    Yes have to agree about RGB but it's a personal thing. I have one and really love the build quality and how would it feels.
    It can get a little hot but depends how much your transfering and for how long.

  You can get 10Gbps NVMe enclosures for about $40~ . You’d have to be crazy to pay $80 to have a blinged out one.

    True.. but benchmarks for the cheaper ones have not always lived up to the promised speeds. You'll find the feedback on this one is very positive.
