  I think this is a typo: Only the Shelly 1 has dry contacts but no power monitoring, while both Shelly 1 PM and Shelly 2.5 both have power monitoring.

    Hi @onggie, new Firmware v1.9.3 was released a couple of days ago. I have not seen mention of a specific overheating fix as yet. There should be more details forthcoming on their FB support site: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ShellyIoTCommunitySupport/

  Shelly 1 is rated to "Maximum load 16A" in specs but under description states upto 3500w.

  Can it be used to control hot water @3.6kw which uses16A?

    Hi there, these are the official tolerances provided, <= 3.5kW total power and 16A maximum current. We cannot recommend exceeding the power limit even though you are keeping within the current draw. Hope that helps.
