  • You missed that all kit kats are half priced! I'm going to get some. Thanks OP!

If this was a year ago, and chilli chips still existed, I would care! :(

    • I know right!

Or if they had not of changed the flavour of the the rock salt and balsamic vinegar ones :(.

      • Indian masala was my favourite flavour. The lime and chilli are probably the best of the current batch

        • I gave up Kettle too since they got rid of chilli flavour.. but Red Rock Deli has just introduced Fire Roasted Chilli & Sea Salt, which is almost as good!! Bought 3 packets last week while it's on special at Woolworths! :) :) :) (Couldn't find it at Coles though)

    • I was in America and seriously craving the chilli chips. Told everyone travelling with me that Kettle's chilli chips were the first thing I'd eat after getting off the plane.

This is toward the end of April. I go to Woolies, they aren't there. I ask the staff, they say they don't sell them anymore. I nearly died.

Boycotting Kettle, they need to bring the chilli back.

im not sure what they did to kettle chips but it taste so much worse now.

    • I think that they are just getting more stale over time.

    • It's just that coles and woolies are screwing their suppliers to sell products at cheaper prices. The only way to lower costs is to use cheaper ingredients. In a few years we will end up like the UK where the majority of products on supermarket shelves are all store brands and bland.

      i agree,
      they taste worse

To me they have little to no taste at all nowadays.

I couldn't agree more. I went as far as calling Kettle Customer Service oven a year ago and they admitted to changing the recipe/formula to appeal to a wider section of the market! Personally, I think that was a huge mistake - especially for the chilli chips which were once the best available.

I could not care less. Red rock deli and aldi blacksmith is far better options.

Hm, I like the new Kettle range.

I don't think it's quite as good as Red Rock Deli, but it's still delicious. For some reason, I find the Kettle range a lot saltier than anything else on the market, even though the sodium content is pretty similar to Red Rock Deli. And I love salt, as much as I try to avoid it!

I also like that the product is specifically 'gluten-free', which is rare in the Aussie market.

  • I just bought Sea Salt and Vinegar 185g for $1.99 today. They were nice. I will be buying more.
