It's not a bad price, but the choice seems rather odd. Hammer drill and impact driver is pretty standard. Grinder is definitely a useful addition, but I personally don't see the point of an impact wrench when there's already an impact driver.

Impact wrench is basically an impact driver, but with a 1/2" square head (for connecting to a socket set) rather than the standard 1/4" hex insert (for connecting to screw bits). It's only really useful if you're working on cars or driving in large screws that use a socket set as opposed to screw bits.

Plenty of other tools instead of the impact wrench would have made more sense as an all-round DIY or starting apprentice kit. Personally I'd go with a circular saw.

    • The mid torque wrench could be sold separately and a comparable 18v dewalt circular saw DCS570 bought for similar price online $280~ on flee Bay. Option for people wanting a saw instead.

However big difference in torque rating from dcf887 205nm~ to dcf894 450nm - 745nm (break away).

    • Agree, I would also add the slow charger that they included here.
