Contacting ALDI Is Impossible (by Design I Assume?)

There is no way to contact them directly.
Their 'Help Centre' page comes up with security certificate warnings.
Then if you ignore you are presented with a very restrictive form.
And if you try to submit the form you get this error: An unhandled fault has occurred in this flow
An unhandled fault has occurred while processing the flow. Please contact your system administrator for more information.

Considering you haven't said why or about what you need to contact them, what additional advice are you expecting to get?

Walk into a store…last time I was there, they had staff…talk to one. Contacting aldi achieved.

i want to let them know they have a problem with a particular food product so they can fix them in the future.

i don't have a receipt so there is no point asking for a refund.

the stressed out checkout chick or shelf stacker i talk to in store is not going to pass my message on.

you don't need a receipt to get a refund, especially if it's a house brand.

I've taken stuff back to Coles, Woolies and Aldi without receipts and they have refunded money without a hassle

How would they know how much to refund you without receipt? Woolies and Coles have 1/2 price sales every week then those items change to full price the next.

@Travis J: You've given me a good get rich quick idea!

          • @Travis J: If it is low value stuff they are more than likely not to waste time and energy on arguing with you. They know what price things are in their shop. It is easier to give you your money back and salvage some goodwill. If you get back more than you paid, then that is your good fortune. Take the money, smile, say thank you, and get lost so they can serve other customers.

Edit: Sorry clicked the wrong reply. Not concentrating.

          • @Travis J: I don't know. On a $3.00 block of cheese I doubt if they really care if they refund $6 or $3.

The best experience I've had so far is Harris Farm. The cheese was mouldy. I had my receipt for $7.50 and couldn't get back to the Cammeray store as I live 10km away. I reported on their website. They posted me a $15 gift card.

At the end of the day they have a care factor of 0 about your opinion. Don't bother wasting your time.

They have a Facebook page where you can contact them.

        It's Facebook. There's your problem.

        • It’s a The Office reference.

          • +1

@tomsco: And why is the onus on everyone else to understand a niche reference?

            • +4

@Bren20: It's not. Tomsco explained it without criticism of Daabido.

            • +3

@Bren20: Never said it was. Just clarifying.

          • @tomsco: Try The IT Crowd.

            • @jonkvh: Great show. Came to it after watching The Mighty Boosh.

13ALDI used to be the number to call. Don’t expect much in the way of customer service though.

    • that is the one that gives the error message

          OP, clear your browser cache?

          • @SF3: More like buy / use an AV.

      • Try a different browser

works fine for me. No certificate problems. Chrome browser

        Was it a pebkac error?

What browser are you using? I hate it when my sites look fine to me but have some scary warning for certain users, and I'm not even aware that some people are seeing my site as virus infested malware because the certificate doesn't work properly. That page's certificate is in the middle of a year long validity.

    • no certificate warnings for me

You must be one of those elite hackers that can type "Aldi Australia phone number" into a search engine.

    Yes. Very hard.
I‘ve had success with email and Facebook messenger but don’t expect quick turnaround. 3 or so business days.

    • what is their email address?

      • +3

How about you tell us what food product and what is the issue so we can avoid it?
As a community we can then all go to our local ALDI store and inform the so called stressed out staff. At my local store I know the manager so what's your problem?

      • I think it’s on their website.

  • What is the actual problem with they product

    • Too many nuts in their nut bars and the package warning only says "may contain traces of nuts"

      • IT SAYS NUT BARS, obviously is made with nuts

  • Name the particular food product and problem.

You share that and I'll share the Aldi executives group email address.

  • +1

Sounds like the problem is actually your browser settings. It is not letting the page load properly. Try another browser that doesn't get triggered or change your security settings. I called about a year ago and it was easy for a stock check.

They are all like this and yes, by design. You are lucky to even find a phone number.
