The listing title on Amazon, "Automaxx LED Display Power Inverter 650W 12V/230V Pure Sine Wave Manual Switch for DC/AC", is a little misleading as it doesn't actually have an LED display, but $10 for Pure Sine Wave inverter with 2 universal sockets is ridiculously cheap. My order arrived today, haven't had a chance to test it yet, but it looks like a solid build.

    Why would anyone run a laptop from an AC inverter?

    A terrible idea when you could use a DC-DC boost.

  Arrived, all marking and documentation state that it does 230v AC. Output ports appear to be a universal type (many diff countries) rather than the US type pictured.

    yeah, seem pretty good stuff.. any idea where I can get the wiring for the 12V input? I was hoping it comes with the 12V cigarettes' socket type.
