Candy Cane Peppermint/Fruit 10 Pack 150g, Candy Cane Assorted 20 Pack 100g $0.10 @ Kmart

130

An excellent price on these candy canes on clearance. I found these at both Rosny Park and New Town, however it may not be nationwide as they're listed for 75c online.

They're good for the next Christmas as the best before is March/April 2022. Available in Peppermint, Fruit and Assorted Fruit.

    Thinking ahead.

  • Sweet.

  • If memory serves these are Chinese made. The ones in Coles are from NZ.

Are you sure they're really made in New Zealand? There's been plenty of news in recent years about food products coming from China into NZ, being repackaged and sent to Australia. It's a loophole they've found.

I'm personally not too concerned knowing what the food industry here is like and considering this is a 10c deal. A huge majority of gluten and yeast is coming from China as there's a bigger supply and a lower price. Products such as self raising flour that are not 100% made will contain products from China.

Yep, I make a point of not buying anything edible made in china. Before anyway yells racist just take a look at their food safety record.

  • Made in CCCHINA.
Better off eating the special ticket.

      • 🤣 Don't forget the 3-6 Mafiaaaa!

  • OP they go well with your avatar. :)

  • I was searching for sugar cane to decorate my Christmas cakes but wow, everywhere I found was selling them made in China (random candy shop Woolies, Big W, Kmart, …). Such a disappointment that no Australian company would try making them? I'm happy to pay more for Australian products.
But then you know when you think about all the holiday celebrations and most of the decorations are made in China too, for example like Easter and Christmas. Think of the Christmas trees, the baubles, wrapping paper, gift bags, toys, decorations, sprinkles, Christmas hats, Christmas Bon Bons, Christmas lights, you name it … so it's like impossible to try avoid China made products.

  • Plenty at Kmart Bass Hill, NSW for $0.05.

They also had a few Xmas Stocking (With Letter Initials) for $0.05.

    • And how many did you walk out with?

      • 0 not a fan of Candy Canes and was too lazy to line up haha
