Nelson is an Australian brand that imported and distributed lighting products for the Australian market for decades. They merged with HPM around 10 years ago.
Sorry noob question - I'm looking for a new kitchen light and wanted to get LED in a batten style fitting that kinda looks like this one, but the guy from local Bunnings told me most of the LED batten lights they sell have built-in bulbs (ie. not replaceable).
He even told me to get a fluro one and then get a sparky to mod it to LED (changing ballast or something)…
Is this true? But then I went to the next aisle and they sell a few LED tubes so not sure what to think…Hmmm… Interesting. Happy to get information on this also.
Have these fittings got the Australian Standard tick of approval?
