      Same

      • 17.99 with code. Thanks.

    • 17.99 with code. Thanks.

  • The XPS 13 compatibility does help to justify the inflated price. Most of the 'cheap and cheerful' versions don't.

  • Where would I use this? Does it work with the Nintendo Switch?

    • It can work with your MacBook Pro, Air, Dell XPS.

This cable does not work with Nintendo Switch.

      Thanks very much,

      Logan

3m USB C to HDMI available for $19 at Kmart too (standard RRP). Works flawlessly for 4K 60Hz with my Razer Stealth 13. Might be a better buy than this at ~2m.

    • Is this the one?

      https://www.kmart.com.au/product/usb-c-to-hdmi-cable---3m/23…

I bought / exchanged a few at my local KMart, didn't get a single one that could do 60hz connected to my Samsung 4k display and my XPS13 9300 and work HP laptop's TB3 port.

      • Yeah that's it. Has worked flawlessly for my Blade 13 on both the TB3 and standard usb3.1 ports.

  • Hi OP, does it support Macbook pro mid 2015? Thanks

    • I do not think so. MacBook Pro mid 2015 has Thunderbolt 2 ports. You could not plug the adapter cable into the Thunderbolt 2 ports.
      Thanks.

  • Oops, never mind, wrong model.

    • Yes. If you have purchased the latest Mac, you can use this adapter cable.

  • does the cable work in reverse? USBC into monitor, DP into gpu? USBC into GPU, DP into monitor?

    • Could I get which computer are you using?

      • No, you cannot get their computer, they paid for it so its their own to use.

        • Thanks for your message. I meaned the computer's model number.

          Thanks very much,

          Logan

      • I was planning on using it for a number of things:

        My phone/tablet, XPS 13/15 (USB C port).

But if it works in reverse I want to plug the USB C part of the cable into the monitor, and the HDMI port into either a console or desktop graphics card.

    • Hi, could I get your laptop's model number?

      • Hi, could I get yours instead?

        • Hello,

          Thanks for your message.

We are asking this, just would like to make it clear and make sure it can work with the customer's laptop.

Some laptops with type-c port does not support DisplayPort USB-C function, in that case, this cable would not work.

          Hope you can get that.

          Kind regards,

          Logan

          • @Loganfence: Yeah but what’s yours??
Also how is the weather over there in Shenzhen?

            • @jayboi: Hello,
Thanks for your message. We have tested these items on MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, iPad Air, Dell XPS 13, HP spectre, Lenovo X1 carbon,

etc, for the smart phone, such as Samsung Note 20, Note 10, S10, etc.

We are doing this just would like to make sure the adapter cable can meet the customer's requirements at most.

Thanks for your consideration about Shenzhen's weather, it's cold at the moment.

And after the COVID-19, if you have chance to China, to Shenzhen, and welcome to visit our company.

              Have a nice day!

              Logan

          • @Loganfence:

Some laptops with type-c port does not support DisplayPort USB-C function, in that case, this cable would not work.

It's an HDMI cable. Does it take a Displayport signal and convert it to HDMI?

    • It does not work in reverse.

USB C was designed for connecting the host.

HDMI was designed for connecting the monitor.

This is a USB C to hdmi adapter cable, not USB C to DisplayPort cable.

      Kind regards,

      Logan

      • This is a USB C to hdmi adapter cable, not USB C to DisplayPort cable.

I know it's not for DisplayPort.

But can it be used as HDMI to USB C?

        • HDMI (monitor) to USB C (Android tablet)
        • USB C (monitor) to HDMI (console/GPU)

Can it be used for both scenarios above?

My GPU also has USB C output.

        • Hello,
          Thanks for your message.
This adapter cable is not bi-directional. It just supports connecting Type-C host to the HDMI monitor.

HDMI (monitor) to USB C (Android tablet)

If your Android phone such as Samsung Note 20, S20, you can get the external monitor.

USB C (monitor) to HDMI (console/GPU)

          No, it does not.

If your GPU has a USB C port, and it also supports DisplayPort function, this cable can make it.

          Kind regards,

          Logan

  • I am using the Kmart one and it works great so far. 3 meters for $19, supports 4k 60Hz.
