70

For those who still want an old school landline cordless phone.

$50 vtech 18450 twin location free base
$30 vtech 18050 location free base twin nbn
$20 vtech 17250 twin. this model not as cheaper as $10 here
$10 vtech 15200 cls 15200

All phones stated "nbn ready", but I am not sure what is nbn ready meaning?

I found it at Macquarie store but I suppose it may be nationwide to clean out the stock. I bought the last one of 15200. and still have plenty of other models leave.

I suspect ‘NBN ready’ is just marketing. Pretty sure you can plug any tone based phone in to the phone plug.
Not sure about rotaries though, never had that come up to find out, I suspect they wouldn’t work.

Genuine question: what is the purpose of a landline? I clicked on this thinking this was a 2-way radio handset. Which I actually think would be more useful. For you know, when the apocalypse arrives and mobile networks are clogged.

    • We have younger children who we use the land line for.

They don’t want to miss the call from Windows.

        • Yes I get lots of calls from the department of windows. They tell me my windows is causing viruses on the internet and they need access to my computer to fix the problem.

One of the best landlines you could buy in 1998.

Well I have a business that uses a land line, its ridiculous to think people don't use land lines, they come with most NBN plans anyway.
