Found a good review video here, worth checking it over like what this guy did and carrying out the necessary mods during set up.

Just bought an Artillery Sidewinder X1 V4 for around the same price ($30 cheaper) though it doesn't have the auto bed levelling of the Sovol SV03 and slightly smaller print volume (50mm smaller on X & Y).

Looks like a decent price for a decent printer.

Can you comment on your experience with the Sidewinder X1? I've been looking at it for quite a while and am extremely tempted to bite the bullet and get one!

Here is another one (went up today)

Was thinking about it but the cable to the bed is a dealbreaker for me (though thank goodness its not a mains powered bed) - otherwise I was really considering it.

actually I think ill get this I can always mod the cable.

EDIT: No I wont - $90 USD shipping? SYD to Melbourne?

@Franc-T: Found out why - their merchant is in France and evidently that rings alarm bells and they locked my cards lol

            • +1

@Franc-T: Finally bought it, no idea why they blocked my cards. Shipping they revised to $10 which is great.

              • @Franc-T: It arrived, still fine tuning it but checked all the contacts and thing like making sure is square etc.

                Its a pretty good printer.

                • @Franc-T: Done quite a few prints with it now, its a good machine.

Dont regret buying. Just posting in case anyone else looks back at this.

    Makes so many useful things?!

    Awesome, might pick one up!

With ABL, tensioners, Dual Z-drive, filament sensor and direct drive as standard, this looks pretty good for the price.

It does have a board with TMC2208 drivers, so can run silent, although a board with the 2209 drivers would be nice.

I don't think you could upgrade to this from an Ender 3 Pro for that price.

Can I print a new 3d printer with this and then return it for full refund 🤔

Do one of yourself and you get yourself returned back to your maker as well
