Difference is Mario special edition . Normal edition are everywhere . Can you tell ?

Ye,people are different,trade in a switch for a switch for $199 or a hunderd expensive than normal one which only color can tell it is "special" isnt for me
The Animal Crossing Edition wasn't special to me except for the $300 + profit extra fans would pay :)
Anyway I'm surprised no Neg RRP Sheep are firing here .
$469 is hardly considered a bargain price when bundles with games is only $369 to $399 sold during Black Friday, Amazon Prime Day, Christmas Sales etc.

"Now"? Been happening for 5+ years as far as I can remember. Eg this RRP "deal" which I wish I jumped on at the time now that they are all at least double in price.
Regardless RRP can be a deal (though probably not in this case.) and large portion of OzB are into games so it's a lot more tolerated/appreciated than other category's.
Though it would be pretty good if OzB had an RRP tag you could add to a post so people not interested in RRP deals could avoid seeing them.

Gaming consoles seem to be big players in this. I kinda like it. Just pretend it's a war between dealers and no dealers. You can choose your side. It's fun this way
I'm not a fan of the colours. I would rather put a d-brand skin on the console.

Have had my Switch since April 17, battery use still reasonable (granted I'm only playing Rocket League, Nes/Snes games, Tetris 99 and SMB35). Will look into getting the next Switch revision though.
I swear switch has had some of the worst "edition" consoles from Nintendo and yet it has the most potential.
Needs yellow/gold joysticks.

Regarding the Trade in offer they have going, how the hell are you supposed to transfer all of your data from the old switch to the new switch if you have to trade it in or hand it over straight away ?
The joycons are terrible and Nintendo support for broken ones is horrendous.

Its not worth anything now but maybe in 5 + years it might be as its hard to get.
I have many 2DS/3DS limited/special editions which were not sort after at the time of release but now have doubled it not tripled in price.
All I can see is the 5-6 big retailers having surplus stock and there is only one way it can clear . But the 5 year thing better of buying in 3-4 yrs time during a clearance not here .
No Mario on the skin or in the machine. How possible this is a special edition. The joycons are also blue and red. Anyway, bought one…. shame on me.
