Samsung Frame TV 32" $695, 43" $1095, 50" $1295, 55" $1595, 65" $1995 + Delivery/C&C @ JB Hi-Fi

With the announcements of the 2021 models at CES there are big discounts on the 2020 Samsung Frame TVs starting today across most retailers that sell them.

32inch (not 4k, only 1080p with 50Hz) - $695, down from $795
43inch - $1095, down from $1295
50inch - $1295, down from $1595
55inch - $1595, down from $1895
65inch - $1995, down from $2495

In case you were wondering, the 2021 models will be thinner (46% thinner in fact) and the 43inch will be rotatable like the 32inch 2020 version. I don't believe there are many other changes announced so far. No release date has been announced.

I see others like BingLee, Catch, Good Guys and Harvey Norman are also showing the same discounted prices.

There is a 4 month free trial available for the Samsung Art subscription too, but then is $6 a month. Or you can use your own uploaded art from your phone via their app or via a USB key.

Enjoy!

    • I am ordering the frame bezel from my EPP store.
      Its $116 for 65", $97 for 55".

Happy to help anyone who wants to get it.

  • After owning the 43inch Frame for 3 days it won't power on. The red light on the TV is on and it responds to the remote presses but nada. Tired power off at wall, unplugging all cables, holding power button on TV for 60 secs etc but I think its cactus. Do I talk to JB or Samsung directly in this case?

    • JB . They will probably replace it or refund as within 14 days

      • yep they asked to bring it into the storage and they would replace

        • +1

          in case the same thing happens to anyone else, the problem can be fixed by completing the following;
          a) troubleshoot it for around 3 hours with trying to factory reset it, unplugging it for an hour from every cable, including the power, swapping every cable, changing power inputs etc
          b) put it all back in the box and drive it back to JB
          c) wait for them to unpack it and plug it in to test it only to find it works absolutely fine for them
          d) hang your head in shame and drive it back home again, set it up and find it also works fine for you now too

  • Does anyone know if they released a firmware update to enable 120fps gaming on the hdmi 2.1 input. Rtings.com tested it and it wasn’t working. Television was flashing. Hopefully Samsung has since fixed it. I’m on the fence with this model. I was going to hold out for LG OLED but I like the art concept and sounds like a reasonable good all round television for the money.

Can you elaborate? It seems expensive. I'm on the fence.

  • I think the CX does HDMI 2.1 120hz 4k but models before this are 60hz/4k max… Even on the CX you need the 2.1 cable and one of the new xboxX others will just playback 4k/60hz (pal is 50hz, ntsc is 60hz and the screen processing switches between them instantly, you often dont know which is which if the processing is any good these days!)

  • Anyone still waiting on their tv?
