I don't get why someone would pay the extra for these…buy a normal TV and a $50 weatherproof cover for it when not in use and save $4000.

    • It's worth $3000 for the direct full array light and 2000nits brightness. Probably best u gon a get for a non-OLED panel

  • Not Neo QLED. Still bummer about the Dolby vision support

  • Is there anything more Bogan than a TV on the patio?

An actual Bogan sitting on the patio?

    Seems rather gimmicky no?
Had a normal TV wall mounted outside for years, doesn't need to be capable of being brighter than the sun or waterproof when it's under cover.

  • I don’t have a $3k leather lounge or ducted air on the back patio lol.

    • I have a 2k leather lounge and ceiling fans on the patio

      • We get enough northerly breeze don’t need fans, I walk 2m off my patio into a pool.

Most people who live like this don’t need to wait for a bargain

  • Heres a bargain, buy the same TV at the same price from the goodguys and get $1000 gift card bonus.

(from the good guys on the "bonus offers" page "Claim by 17/01/21")

  • I think if you out a bit of cardboard around any normal TV it becomes IP55 lol reading the spec for IP55 means many things will pass it 😂

edit: I stand corrected, I was reading IP54, IP55 actually should have protection from jet spray from any angle from spec:
solid: 5 - Protected against quantity of dust that could interfere with the normal operation of the product but not fully dust tight. Complete protection against solid objects.
liquid: 5 - Protection assured against water jets projected by a nozzle (6.3mm) from any angle.
