Arlo Pro 3 Wireless Floodlight Camera $349 (was $399) Delivered @ Device Deal ($314.10 PB @ Bunnings)

31

Arlo Pro 3 Wireless Floodlight Camera is on sale at Device Deal for $349 (normally $399).

Shipping is also free.

I managed to price beat at Bunnings Newstead (QLD) this afternoon to get it for $314.10.

Although I'm not the biggest fan of wireless cams/floodlights, I personally think this floodlight is better than the Eufy floodlight as it has 2k resolution, person detection and automatic siren-sounding functionality when detecting a person (albeit with an Arlo subscription unfortunately).

I purchased Arlo Ultra a little over a year ago. Arlo was nothing but trouble, unreliable connections to hub, unreliable streaming, recording 6-8 seconds after motion detected, etc. Not to mention that their system is almost unusable without a subscription. That was a purchase I bitterly regretted.

    • Thanks for the review. I find that whatever user reviews I read for Reolink, Eufy, Ring, Arlo, Google/Nest, Swann etc, there never seems to be that perfect 'smart' product without some compromises and/or issues.

At least Bunnings have an excellent returns policy.

    • I am in the same boat. Arlo Ultra. At first my problem was battery consumption so bought Arlo solar panel and now there is nothing without subscription after a year. They are expensive, atleast with Reolink or Eufy, you don't spend that much. Will never go near again.

Have Arlo Pro 2. They're terrible. App is slow. Regret getting them

Im not sure why you're getting downvoted. I have nothing but issues with mine.
Slow connecting to the device and will often fail. The app is horrible and their website is even worse.

Yes I also often have camera disconnected for no reason. and when I charge them the status doesn't get updated and often needs a re-sync. I invested $700 for 4 camera system it was totally not worth it.

Apparently Arlo used to be owned by Netgear, at which point they were tolerable. In August of 2018 Netgear sold off Arlo as a public company.

  • Arlo reliability is a joke. Don't let them charge you IQ tax!
