Still cheaper to buy here than Amazon if you’re in ACT.
I’d happily avoid Amazon at all costs.

    • Why is it cheaper in ACT? Or do you not have prime?

      • Not everyone has prime!

Why you avoid Amazon? I bought a phone 2 weeks ago, it was late so they sent another. They both arrived and they said I could keep them both. Amazon is great

      • Their service to customers is really good. Their service to their own staff…

        • Oh well, get another job if it’s that bad. This is Australia not China

  • $23 for two 450ml double walled glasses.
Finally used my $5 promo credit after buying two sets.

  • the 450ml set looks nice but I already have an insulated stainless steel mug

I have these, they're really good. Much better than porcelain coffee and tea mugs because they go in the dishwasher so well.

But you can put porcelain in the dishwasher too

Nah I prefer usually porcelain cups .. as I find double walled ones annoying as the heat of the glass doesn’t reflect the contents… you sip it and burn your mouth. It’s a bit of a gimmick tbh, what’s the point? They are also super fragile.

    • Thanks have updated the post

  • This seemed better than the Amazon deal for me, actually bought from this retailer last night as the delivery from Amazon appeared to be for 1-2 months time.

BPLUSHLD6WBNZQM $10 off with ebayplus code. Not sure if its targeted

Worked for me to take 2x 350ml glasses from $19 to $9 delivered.

      • got it too…thanks

        also 2 x 250 mls was showing as $6 after $10 off

    • That would have been your personal code.

  • what's so special about these cups? i bought the ikea stelna glass cups for $1. i got 6 for $6, so saved $33 dollars more then this deal.

    • I am wondering the same.. what is special about these?

    • +1

      They're double wall

      • i finish my drink in a single wall before it even gets cold. how long are you babying your drink for? i use mine for coffee, and it never gets cold because i always finish it before it gets cold.

i just can't find myself buying 6 for $39 when i can go to ikea and buy $1 cups. i already broke a few from clumsy guest, and viola, i can buy many more for $1 a piece, lol.

Not so sure if it's special or not but, from what I understand, there is space between the two glass layers (inner and outer) which creates an insulation effect so the user doesn't feel hot or cold regardless of the actual temperature of the beverage. It also says that it keeps the beverage hot or cold for longer due to this "insulation" but I kind of doubt because the top is still open.

I do know that air itself can be a good insulator and a good example of air being used as insulator is Ski Dubai.

What's to doubt, evening except the top of the cup is insulated so of course it keeps the drink hotter/cooler for longer

Yes, basically everything you use is insulated by air.
Your clothes keep you warm because they trap air.
The insulation in your roof insulates because it has lots of air pockets
        And so on.

I bought 2 sets of these glasses, and for the price, they're overrated imo. I wish I knew the cons before I bought these.

      Pros:
      - They are double walled, looks pretty and sure to impress guests.
      - It's cool to touch and keeps warm/cold drinks a little while longer.
      - Dishwasher safe.

      Cons:
      - It's very light, when not full could easily tip over.
      - Cool to the touch is somehow makes my drinking experience not as enjoyable as using a regular mug. It's missing that sensation, warm mug on hot coffee, or cold cup on a smoothies are now gone. It feels like my brain is playing trick on me telling this is a room temperature coffee, and would be shit, while it's actually is not.
      - The parabolic curve at the bottom of the mug could actually splash water upwards if you are not careful. This is particularly bad if you are pouring boiling water.

      • Thanks for the honest review. I was on the fence. Not buying.

  • Thx OP always wanted to get a set. I live very close to one of the stores

  • These double walled cups break easy. The glass is too thin IMO. I started with a set of 8, now have only 3 left after using them for the past 2 years. I wouldn't buy again. I miss holding a warm cup of coffee

    • Depends on the user. I have mine for four years, no problem at all

  • I had bought this from a previous deal. Water always gets in between the two walls from the hole in the bottom. Has anyone run into this? How do you remove that?

  • So as per the opening post, I purchased my set of 6 Bodum mugs from the Amazon link above for $48.90 delivered. They arrived today, but I'm very skeptical of their authenticity as genuine "Bodum" products. They weren't packaged in any Bodum packaging, nor did any of the mugs have the silicone plug at the base. They were also packaged in different boxes. If anything, I believe these are "Bodum style" mugs. Anyone have a similar experience? Not sure how to proceed. Is it easy to deal with Amazon?

    • You have probably received counterfeit items. The giveway is no branding and silcone vent on the bottom. I just complained to Amazon as they switched the seller from "Amazon AU" to "Lurie baby products-au". Was not happy with their Amazon's initial response as they said I should have checked my invoice. I advised Amazon they should be clear when they change to 3rd party sellers and should not be promoting crooks. They gave me a $5 promo credit and have asked the seller to send me a prepaid return satchel to commence the refund process. I tried to complete the refund process myself by was getting an error I was unable to.

Just to update things, I actually contacted Amazon AU and they got in touch with Lurie baby products-au.

Lurie baby products-au then contacted me offering a full refund, no questions asked, with no returns. So I guess it was a win in the end. Free counterfeit cups… The refund happened almost immediately too.
