  The screen is 250 nits - the general opinion here is that this is not bright enough.
  Otherwise generally look good for the price, except I need a 14 inch screen (hint).

    E495 is a 14" screen….

    Solid price, but if you are not in a hurry maybe have a look at what the 4000 series equivalent goes on sale for. The mobile 5000 series chips were announced recently so you never know

  Good this for my uni student sister last year for 770 or so.

  No issues since. Backlit kb would be nice. Screen is definitely brighter than 250, probably 300 to 320 nits.

    Specs say 250nits, which is poor for outside use.
