  • Is this au version or Chinese version?

  • This or the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro?

My daughter isn't gaming on it, but likes to listen to music and a decent camera.

    Opinions?

  • Good price but I wish BG would offer some faster shipping options. Not sure my old Pocophone F1 will last another 4 weeks.

I guess I'll be paying an extra $50 to get one DHL Express from an AliExpress seller. =[

    • Might as well use amazon for warranty as well. is around 350$ for 64gb then u can add micro sd i think.

      • +1

Amazon prices are: 64gb $366, 128gb $390. But "free" prime shipping is still estimated for 10-12 Feb. Need to pay extra for 29-02. Still too slow.

Also, got 128gb SD but still want 128gb onboard. So no go on the 64gb.

If they were quicker I'd consider it. But so far AliExpress with 3day DHL is still looking like the winner.

Just go and buy the Moto G9 Plus from JB..

Its basically the exact same phone as the Poco X3 with local warranty and availability
      $399

      • Not a bad idea. Any software issues with it though?

        • -1

Yes: actually the lack of it (security updates on Motorola are rare).

  • Is this price good? And how does this phone compare to the OnePlus 7pro?

    • +1

It's not in the same league as 1+.
Poco X3 is a midrange, 1+ is (was) a flagship.

  • is anyone else being charged GST? How to get rid of it… extra $30.00?

    • +1

If you buy using the au.banggood.com site or via their app the gst is included in the price shown.

If you buy using banggood.com (note no au. in front of this one) the gst is added later at the checkout. Dont use this method.

      • but does that mean no cash rewards?

        • It appears to be no cr.
For gst registered businesses, cr is better

        • Never heard of CR with BG.
Prices are about as good as you can get without it anyway.

  • anyone got Voice over Wifi working on one of these?

    • +1

I couldn't get it to work on Optus and Boost (Telstra).

  • Anyone able to get their Banggood tracking code to work? (Starts with NEX)

    • +2

Only works with tracking within your BG order until Aramex get it here in Oz.
2 phones I ordered from BG back in 27/12/20 were like that.
Aramex Oz will show as little tracking info as possible. Mine went from scanned in @ Sydney depot, nothing for a few days then one morning it showed onboard for delivery.
With covid they will drop at your door and take a pic and go.
Mine took 3 weeks from order to delivery.

  • placed my order on the day OP posted this. Mine isn't even shipped yet. Is yours shipped?

    • Current listing shows "Expected to ship before Feb 12". Was it like that back when this deal was posted?
Redmi Note 9 Pro shows "In stock. Ships in 24 hours". So maybe the Pocos are on backorder?

      • +1

They've changed my order to Expected to ship before Feb 13 :(

when i placed, it showed Expected to ship before Jan 31

        • Chinese New Year holidays maybe?

    • +1

Received mine yesterday, and I ordered on the same day as you. Got a shipping confirmation after 24 hours or so. You might've been unlucky :(

      • Wow… that was fast.
Maybe his was a different colour and was sold out?
Did they supply an AU adapter with yours?

        • +1

I bought blue, and yep the parcel had one of those cheap AU adapters. Came with Fastway/Amamex and the tracking was shit so was a nice surprise showing up on a Sunday.

          • @railspider: Got the same adapter with my RN9.
I use the charger from my old Xiaomi phone anyway, it charges slower but I prefer that as I leave it on charge overnight when needed.

    • +1

Expected to ship before Feb 13 :(

      • Me too. Feb 13. I'm considering cancelling it. Is this really a good price that's worth waiting?

        • hmm I have a feeling that they'll extend it to two more weeks (till feb 27) again on feb 13, just like they did on jan 31

        • $50 cheaper than I have found it since the first big deal they had.

  • Missed it, showing $409 now. I guess, will have to wait for a deal on this.

    • +1

      Showing $307 now… https://www.banggood.com/POCO-X3-NFC-Global-Version-Snapdrag…

Buy via the au.banggood.com site or their app to save fees. If you buy using US$ with a 0% international transaction fee you will save even more.
Note…. Expected to ship before Feb 15 so add another 3 weeks to that for delivery.
Also…. Promotion Sale From Feb 3 to Feb 5

  • +1

Ordered and paid for on 20/1 with and expected shipping before date of 1/2, got an email 3/2 saying expected shipping before date will now be 19/2

    • Banggood are generally good. I think they don't have it in stock, that's dodgy though, why not list the item not in stock and put the expected re-stocking date so people can buy from that day instead just holding on customers' $$ and keep them waiting.

  • +1

Dodgy as hell, now date has pushed out to 4th March and probably go out longer the way we are going. Online with chat again for the third time trying to cancel and they only offer me to wait or exchange. Waiting for them to my response of cancellation and refund. Keep offering me 800BG points if I wait. May not ship till mid year at this rate. Should have ordered from Amazon.

    • +1

Oh 😲😳 wow yeah mine shows that too.

  • +1

I ordered on 20th Jan .And when I asked through online chat CS officer was not too sure how long it could be . My initial time frame was , arriving before 31st Jan though. I cancelled my order. Really Dodgy, as Banggood was selling without any stock.

    • Many online sellers list items that are waiting for restock. Banggood usually shows if they are in stock or on backorder.
There can sometimes be delays beyond the control of the retailer. I doubt it is intentional.

      • I have leant a lesson anyways. Amazon was may be selling in $31 extra but at least they had stock plus more warranty. Small retailers may be selling but their inventory stock count is awful if i accept it was not intentional and Banggood has not invested our money in Bitcoin for a month 😝:)

  • Has anyone had any issues receiving SMS messages? Mine come only intermittently.

Any help would be so gratefully received.
