        Same specs? The 8th gen has an A12 chip vs the A10 on this particular model. Looking at the typical life span of an iPad (in our household), I’d easily spend an extra $150 for the A12 chip. Having said that, $300 is still a great price for the 7th gen.

    Less than 2 weeks before school term starts, and people are scrambling for devices for their kids. Stock amounts are most likely token amounts to get the word out to remind people that OW has these for sale. Next week they'll have hundreds in stock, at full price.

    Costco have ipads cheaper if you can't get the deal using the apple education store. I picked up 8th gen 128gb ipad yesterday for $620 (normally $646 on apple normal store).

    Ok so I got a call from Liverpool OW saying that this is a customer returned item that's why it's on a discount, I asked a few questions (how old was it when they returned, she doesn't know but it's been there since July '20, has a few marks etc). And wanted me to pick up today because a customer had it on hold as well. Pretty confusing, why is it on hold and still available to sell.

    Anyway, will go down sometime today and have a look and test, if it's not working I'll decline/refund.

    Don't know if this will be the same for other locations but a bit disappointing when I thought it would be NIB.

    Not surprising its out of stock. They havent had these for ages that Ive seen - replaced by 8th Gen - so its probably a limited drop they sourced for school time.

    Get a quote and cross fingers they get more.
