From February 12 – May 22, the Japan Foundation is hosting a new free exhibition about sentō (public bathhouses) along with a series of public events including free monthly film screenings, a talk event and paid workshops.

The following film screenings are free @ Palace Cinemas Central (bookings are required):

  • Thermae Romae (February 24, 6:30pm – 8:18pm)
  • Her Love Boils Bathwater (March 24, 6:30pm – 8:35pm)
  • Melancholic (April 21, 6:00pm – 8:23pm)
  • Mio on the Shore (May 19, 6:30pm – 8:01pm)

      Unfortunately, we do not have any screenings outside of Sydney at the moment. We are working on expanding the program to other states and hoping to bring it to more cities in the future.
